*** INTRODUCTION ***My family and I run an automotive detailing and tuning shop and we are constantly looking for new, innovative products to add to the arsenal of products we use on our customer's cars. We use a lot of products from a company out of California and although they sell a lot of quality detailing products for professionals, they don't sell everything, not do I think any detailer should rely solely on one particular product manufacturer because in the end, you're really limiting your true potential.*** WHY I TRIED THIS PRODUCT ***For years, we have always struggled to find the "perfect" cleaner/polish for the soft black paint commonly seen on the Japanese cars, especially Honda's. We've tried literally everything and never really found THE product for the job. Our cars would come out looking amazing but the soft black paint cars always took a little more time to get just right. A friend in the detailing business told me about this product and how he uses it for this soft paint, so I figured I'd give it a try.*** WHY I LIKE THIS PRODUCT ***It works GREAT on the soft black paint, just as my friend had told me. It's kind of ridiculous that we need one particular product for one particular type and color of paint but it is what is is. Using the Sonax Paint Cleaner along with our other products has allowed us to detail the soft black paint cars a whole lot quicker and easier than before, and I honestly think they come out looking even better.*** PRICE ***The price is about what you'd expect to pay but I really think it should be slightly less expensive to be honest. There's enough product in the bottle to do a number of cars so in the end, it's only going to cost you a few dollars per car in extra materials.*** BOTTOM LINE ***After thoroughly testing the product out, I can say, it works as described. While they don't specifically mention anything in the product description about this product being used for soft, black, Japanese paint, that's really where it shines. If you Google the product, you can read testimonials from other detailers who rely on it. And like I always say, I won't use a product on a customer's car that I wouldn't use on my own... I use this Sonax Cleaner on my 2014 Honda Civic Si for it s annual detailing job.

So i finally tried this paint cleaner after a nasty salty winter here in the northeast. I didn't get a chance to wash the car that often and only sprayed it down at the local carwash. The temps was always below freezing, so you couldn't wash the car.Anyways, after almost 2 months of no wash and constant salt on the road, the black paint was dull and dirty.This paint cleaner did well. It was easy to apply and easy to remove. I could see a different in the clarity of the paint. Finished it with the Sonar liquid wax which is my new favorite quick wax and the car was as good as new.I give it 4 starts because maybeeee 5... that's because the final result is still not the same as applying say the 3M cleaner with the random-orbital sander. BUT for a liquid quick on-off cleaner it did great on my black car.

Hate to miss the boat here, but I feel like I am the only one not liking this product. Follow the directions carefully. It does say to work a small area and wipe off before it dries. If you try to do too much area, the product will dry white making it hard to remove, staining plastic trim white, and filling cracks with a layer of white. No problem if you get it off in time. I prefer so many more products on the market that allow you great working area, longer time to remove, and those that dry completely clear. I have much better working experience with a product like Dura Gloss Polish and Cleaner...only as an example and not an endorsement.

I have a 2008 honda accord lx-p it's white there was an amazing change in color it works amazingly just was the car dry it then used this product it turned the car bleach white compared to the dull white it was from weathering I used it on the whole car with just the application sponge that's sonax sales then I used the polymer net Shield to make sure that the white last a long time I would definitely recommend it

First off, it can’t work miracles. Still, the 58 year old paint on my Dodge pickup shines like it’s been clear coated. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to shine dull paint.
