Another excellent YETI product
True YETI product that is a nice color. Fits in cupholder nicely. So far the straw seems durable. Very happy with purchase. Keeps cold drinks cold, even if in a hot car or the sun.

Great mug
My favorite mug!! Perfect for work. Keeps my water ice cold, keeps dirt out, size fits in my truck perfect. It's been bounced off concrete several times and no cracks. Doesn't leak. Nice size so I'm not constantly out of drink but not heaving to hold. Definitely buy again.

YETI Rambler 35 oz Straw Mug is a fantastic choice for a reliable, high-capacity tumbler
I recently purchased the YETI Rambler 35 oz Straw Mug in Big Sky Blue, and it’s quickly become my go-to for staying hydrated on the go. Here’s my take on this hefty hydrator. The double-wall vacuum insulation lives up to YETI’s reputation. I filled it with ice water in the morning, and even after hours in a hot car, the ice was still intact, and the water stayed refreshingly cold. Perfect for long road trips or beach days. Made from 18/8 stainless steel, this mug feels indestructible. It’s puncture- and rust-resistant, and I’m confident it could survive a drop or two. The elevated handle makes it easy to carry, especially for those with arthritis or smaller hands, and it fits perfectly in my car’s cupholder. The straw lid is a game-changer for sipping iced coffee or water without spilling, and the molded-in stopper keeps the straw secure. Both the mug and lid are dishwasher-safe, which is a huge plus for daily use. No fuss, no hassle. The Big Sky Blue is vibrant and eye-catching. It’s a beautiful shade that stands out without being too flashy. Like most YETI products, this mug isn’t cheap. While the quality justifies the cost for me, it might be a stretch for budget-conscious buyers. However, The YETI Rambler 35 oz Straw Mug is a fantastic choice for anyone who needs a reliable, high-capacity tumbler for cold drinks. Its insulation is top-notch, the design is practical, and the Big Sky Blue color adds a fun pop. Just be prepared to invest in an extra lid if you want versatility for hot beverages. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a durable, stylish way to stay hydrated all day!

Great everyday mug
I was worried going form a smaller yeti tumbler that I would knock this over all the time but that’s not the case. It has some weight to it but it also provides better stability when placed down. Ice retention is decent so far. Love the color and quality

BEST CUP ON THE MARKET AND DURABLE AGAINST ABUSIVE NARCISSISTIC EX WIFES!
Great size holds plenty of liquid, ice last a ridiculously long time and it's very durable. Had my abusive narcissist ex wife throw my Yeti at me and she missed hit the tile floor and had a took a minor dent. Love this yeti and it's my favorite color. If you are not into the reusable straw you cna get a magnetic sip lid that's great. Big thing is yeti has a metal handle that leads to the metal cup. No screws and plastic handles for this cup like other companies. Dishwasher safe for lids, straws and cups! Highly recommend!

More than a fad
Life's busy and it's easy to forget the body's need for critical hydration, no matter the season.I researched various brands and reviews and settled on the Yeti for reputation, quality, capacity, color variety, comfort and perceived longevity.I became so involved with daily activities that I usually failed to refill my smaller cups, hence the larger size that kept it's cool all day. The straw's great for sipping frequently. By days end I've emptied 42 ounces and it's still cool.Pleased with the purchase and the price is competitive to other popular competing brands Recommend

Differences worth noting between 35oz and 42oz - general review and comparison
So this review will actually be for two tumblers, the 35oz and 42oz which are similar but distinctly different in a few ways but I'll start with similarities first. Both provide solid cold/hot retention as is expected of most brand recognizable tumblers. I feel that most of these have gotten to the point that differences in performance should no longer be the deciding factor when considering an established brand. Both use a friction fit lid with the traditional rubber flange - when testing these out the 35oz was slightly more stubborn and not as "supple" when I first got it. It slowly broke in though to where it is relatively easy to remove. My 42oz doesn't fight me at all, but this could just be slight production variance.Splash resistance is good but spills are possible if inverted as this has a straw opening that does not seal. Speaking of the straw it's a rigid design that favors an outer edge. Being using to Hydroflask and a lesser known brand (Elemental) there are some advantages/disadvantages. First the straw is clear so it's easy to see if there's any debris/build up which is an improvement over both those alternatives. The diameter is large enough to accommodate brushes for cleaning which is not true for the Elemental. Being a hard rigid plastic rather than silicone I've found less cleaning is needed and doesn't add potential aftertaste as much as the Hydroflask. The straw is a trapped design where it can't fall out if the bottle is inverted - the others have different methods of straw retention but I feel all are adequate. The straw being on an outer edge means that the angle which you raise the cup and even hand usage may create issues negatively impacting function. The others have a center punch which may be more preferable for those that use cups in either hand, may sip with hands full, etc.The paint coat on both feels very durable and rich with good saturation bringing excellent color. Both feel quite durable but I have not dropped them and have already purchased boots for protection because the fit and finish is worth maintaining for me.Speaking of boots - none come standard. More companies appear to be including boots with their offerings or even integrating it into the bottom of the cup (like Corkcicle). This isn't exactly a negative, but as the cost of the cup tends to be high compared to competitors an additional cost to protect it is worth mentioning. The handle feels extremely solid compared to some other designs - I don't feel like it will break or loosen in any way. In addition it doesn't have a rubberized coating or partial grip like some other brands not mentioned - rubber coatings are notorious for eventually deteriorating and being hard to remove. They tend to get "sticky" as they age and no amount of regular cleaning gets rid of it - certain "rugged" products are prone to doing this for example. The differences:35oz: I want to love this one, I really do. It has a lot going for it - a wider range of colors, being just short enough to fit the ice machine at work while offering the highest capacity I can get away with having the extra +5oz over competitors, and many of the perks listed above. But the handle ergonomics just aren't that great. I doubt I'll find a true alternative due to other constraints like height, but as a man the handle doesn't fit my hand well allowing only for finger tips till the first knuckle or three fingers to second knuckle. Because the handle doesn't fit well it feels off balance making it close to perfect but just not there. I would not find it comfortable to be carrying this one regularly out and about - those with smaller hands are likely to disagree.42oz: I really like this one, the handle is properly scaled and as a man fits my hand easily for multiple holding styles (hand around or even inside handle works). The only drawback of this is the color selection isn't nearly as large not featuring a lot of the LE colors the 35oz had which is unfortunate (I found the colors offered on the 35oz better). If you're not super picky about the colors or can find one you like there really aren't any complaints making it an excellent offering from Yeti worth considering. The +2oz stands out over the competitors as do most of the perks mentioned above.
