Not one day goes by that I don’t read his letters. I’m so greatful to Padre Pio’s wisdom and teachings. I’ve given this book to a lot of my friends too.

I got this book for my sister since she likes Padre pio. She was thrilled about the book 📙 and she started to read the book the moment that it arrived and she said thanks for thinking of me and will enjoy reading some more of the book in the next days.

This is a treasure trove of wisdom. I return to these pages over and over. It is especially good as a companion in adoration. I have gained so many insights and found great encouragement in the pages of this book. I wish it were in journal form. I have found the entries have prompted much of my private journaling.

Wonder, easy to read, common sense daily insight. A joy to read. This is the one to buy.

My fear was of St. Pio's ability to read people's souls in confession.How would he challenge me if I prayed to him? But since my birthday is his day of death, I have decided to rely on him as an intercessor to Our Lord and foster a devotion to him.Each day's entry has only an excerpt from one of his letters. I created a spreadsheet with the day of the year for each entry, the name of the person to whom the letter was addressed, and the date that St. Pio wrote the letter. By sorting the spreadsheet by name and date written, I can read more of content of each letter. But I do want to get a book with all his letters and read more of his spiritual direction.I give this five stars. As someone already wrote in a review, this is much better than other daily devotional books.

Very inspiring way to start the day!

Padre Pio wrote to a few folks he was “mentoring” spiritually. These daily devotions are from these correspondences. Very heavy on power of the Evil One trying to disrupt our lives. If you are struggling with personal demons, it will be helpful. If you be are not, then perhaps this will cause you to consider if evil is trying to break into your life.
