Good machine and Easy to use.
First time I've used a chain saw and I have to say that the product was easy to get ready for work. The chain was fitted but it did require oil (supplied in a small bottle), and easy adjustment. I bought a litre of oil which I would recommend. The saw was light and easy to use. All that remains is reliability but it seems of strong construction so looked after I don't think this will be a problem. So far, I am really pleased with this item.

Happy chopping!
Well worth the money.Just cut down two wee 'ish' conifers and this boy did not let me down.Would have been five stars, however the chain came off three times.Saved me a lot of cash-definite must buy.Happy chopping!

Very powerful for an electric saw
Rugged construction, easy setting of chain tension with no tools. This chainsaw is an absolute ‘animal’, was a bit sceptical about getting an electric over petrol, but as I was only going to use it at home, no problem.Watched the WORX video before the purchase and was impressed, and definitely not disappointed, cuts through seasoned oak logs with little effort. If your in the market for an electric chainsaw that will not disappoint, look no further.

nice chainsaw
Been using this saw for clearing trees and shrubs from overgrown garden. So far it has performed very well. Unlike the Oregon one i had before, this one doesnt have the problem where the bar keeps coming loose due to dodgy plastic fittings. 5 stars from me, i have had no issues so far. It does have a thirst for oil though and the bottle you get with it wont last very long (doesnt even fill the tank) so stock up and keep tabs on the level.EDIT: After 3 years of good service it just died, still good value for the service it performed.

Disposable tool
It is easy to use and practical. I was using it for some light gardening work when the chain came off. Every time I refit it, it comes straight off again. This is not my first chainsaw and I understand how they work. I checked the blade and chain and there is no damage.I contacted Customer Support and explained my problem.... that was 4 weeks ago and as of today (05/06/10) I have received absolutely no reply.So.… very poor customer services and an expensive disposable tool.

Good while they lasted, but can't recommend due to the failures
I have had 2 from Amazon. Luckily due to their excellent returns policy I've not been left out of pocket. Both units developed a sparking from the motor. The first one also suffered a loss of power after this time (5 minutes). Although not stated in the manual, this does not appear to be a heavy duty item. It may well be fine for chopping smaller logs. I don't have previous experience of Petrol/other electric models and was very happy with the cutting power until they broke. On a positive note the chain is easy to adjust and the build quality feels good. You will need to buy chainsaw oil, as a very small bottle is supplied

Make Sure You Buy Spare Oil
Haven't owned a chainsaw before, so... I found it easy to use and effective. The brake engages at the first sign of danger. The first time this happened I started looking for a reset button, not realising the brake had engaged automatically! Surprised that it uses quite a lot of oil while in operation, but guess this is normal for a chainsaw.
