THIS IS A FANTASTIC BIKE LIGHT!
Ok, with this review I don’t want to take away from the larger, brighter, 2600 lumen version of this light, but WOW! Just WOW! WOW is the smaller 1200 lumen version of this light ever bright! I mean this light is absolutely amazing how bright it is! I’m sure the larger one would be even better by far, but for a bicycle or electric scooter (what we have) it is unnecessary to have the larger one. The 1200 lumen light will be good enough. So for now, this review is just my overall inpression of the light just out of the box. I will add to it after I have had a chance to take my bike on a night time ride. Just out of the box, the light may or may not have a charge. We bought two of them for our bikes. One was about 50% charged already and the other was so discharged that it wouldn’t even turn on. However I was able to test it immediately by plugging it in to charge. It turned on and went through the functions just fine. On the right side there is a power button to turn it on. You press it multiple times to go through the settings, and finally press it again to turn it off. There is also a USB-C charging port on the right side, and 4 small blue LED lights to indicate charging status and percent of charge. About the light and its functions. The light has three separate projectors inside. The low beam uses the two outer lights. The beam pattern is pretty even with no dark spots in it. It is nice and wide. It casts light out ahead quite a ways. I’m unsure of the distance right now but I tested it in the back yard and it lit up the trees 70’ feet away with all ease. About the same as the commonly sold 18w pod lights that are so popular on four wheelers. The low beam seems to be a kind of a flood light. There’s no bright spots in the pattern, just a good evenly dispersed light with a nice sharp and flat edge at the top of the beam. This makes it easy to adjust to not blind oncoming cars. The high beam uses just the center projector and it casts a round beam like what a flash light would throw. It is a spot light. Using the high beam raises the height of the light pattern as well. I observed this by mounting the light on my bike in the garage and testing it against the garage door. Once I had the low beam adjusted to what I felt would be reasonably low enough not to blind oncoming cars, then I turned on the high beam and saw that it raised the beam spot about a foot or so higher than where the low beam was. The third option is to run both low and high beam together. This is so bright that unless you were off road I don’t think you would want to use this setting very often. The fourth option is running low and high together but in a flashing mode. Maybe use this during the daytime to get other people to see you. The mount is just a simple clamp that wraps around the handle bars. The clamp is made to fit three different sizes of handle bars. I mounted it onto a bar that is 7/8” in diameter. This is the smallest bar it will fit. As tight as I was able to make it, it was still easy to turn the clamp up and down on the bar. I was afraid that this would make it easy to knock the light out of adjustment so I trimmed a couple of pieces of electrical tape and applied them on the inside of the clamp as a shim and reinstalled the clamp. This worked well to prevent accidentally changing the adjustment of the light. Also the light can be easily removed from the mount clamp for charging, and then put back on again without needing to readjust the aim. Watch this review for future updates, coming soon!

Exceptional Light!
I purchased this LED light for my 60V 2000W electric scooter to improve on the stock light's strength. Since my scooter travels at speeds over 40 MPH, I needed additional light for Night riding (and in daylight to improve visibility to motorists for safety). This Tomsfun light is very well made, durable and extremely bright! Also, it was Super Easy to mount, and the weight is great - with excellent build quality! It holds a charge for a very respectable time, and charges pretty fast with USB-C. I plan on purchasing the larger one for my e-moto bike, and I highly recommend these lights!

Great as a light, but self-discharge time is too short
PROs: The mounting is secure-doesn’t sag but stays adjustable. Easy to install/remove for charging. Great lighting pattern and brightness - beats the heck out of coin-cell-powered LED lights! CONs: I don’t use very often, and recharge it after each use of about 10 - 15 minutes. Two of the five times I’ve needed it the battery was completely dead, and I had to resort to my crappy coin-cell lamp to get home. Not great due to this, as it self-discharges in a week or two without use, so it isn’t as reliable as I would have expected a Lithium battery powered unit to be. I would have to check the battery every day, but forget … and then it’s dead. Improve the battery self-discharge time and this is a 5-star bike lamp.

Woah, that is bright!
It had been several years since I had bought a bike lamp. And now this one was woah! So so bright! I was so impressed with it! It has several settings and all work great. They will see you at night from a long distance and you will see everything too! Also, it is super simple to install and you can slide it in and out to not leave it on if you go somewhere and are afraid to get it stolen (happened to me before), or to charge it. Which, by the way, I love that you can just charge it with the USB cable instead of using endless batteries. It is bigger and heavier than I thought but it sits perfectly on the bike rails. I am happy with this light, and now I can go out at night again! :)

Bright, but short on battery life
Bright, but short on battery life. Doesn't hold a charge very long. Seems to discharge quickly when not in use. Recommend paying the extra for something like a Cygolite Metro Pro 1200 if your desire or need a bright light with a long run time. Spend a little extra for a better experience. You don't want to find yourself riding home in the dark. Lucky for me my ebike has a light (weak one at that) and I rode it verses my mountain bike that day.

Not impressed
Was trilled about the luminosity, however came to realize the bike lamp just will not stay secured to the holder in the long run. When riding bumps, and who hasn’t, the lamp falls off because no matter how the holder knob is tightened . The design was probably well intended for manufacture, but the reality it doesn’t hold up in this bikers real world. Found this out a bit longer the return timeline.

Exceptional bike light
This is a great bike light! The all aluminum construction is awesome and this even extends to the mount. Most companies in this space provide a plastic mount and aluminum is extra. It also comes with several sets of shims so it can fit almost any tube/handle bar diameter tightly. I purchased the 1,200 lumen model and I think it's a great balance between size and brightness. I am so impressed with this little light as it charges over USB-C and can even charge my phone at 5V 2A, twice as fast as those old 5V 1A chargers phones used to come with. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. I really appreciate the company taking the time to produce several videos showing the light in action, how to install the light, and the unboxing. Additionally, the material online was very detailed regarding the specifications of the light and differentiating between this 1,200 lumen model and the larger 2,600 lumen model. If there is one future improvement I could as for it would be a very low brightness mode that could extend the batter life out to 15+ hours. However, the 2-4.5 hours this light is capable of now is more than enough for a given day and the light is easy to twist off the bike to recharge via the included cable. It's also great how the mount came with the option to use a hex bolt for mount security or a finger friendly twist off for easy access.

Get More Than One For Best Results; Three of Them is Best... Probably !
When I first got this product, I did not notice that I could use the thinner plastic inner-ring in order to secure it to the centre of my electric mountain-bike, but, managed to figure it out on the second one. This product comes with both a thick and a thin inner plastic-ring since different parts of the bars on a bike will either be thicker or thinner; use the appropriate ring to be able to tighten the clamp properly. I mentioned, and, recommended getting at least two of these head-lights, but, a total of three is probably optimum, for one bicycle. Why two or more for one bicycle ? The lights have four activation-modes... they look like as follows...: [+][-][+] [-][+][-] [+][+][+] [!][!][!] The + representing that the bulb is activated, the - indicates that it is not activated, and, ! is a blinking effect. Now, here is the main reason why you want at least two, because, you can actually use the blinking mode like a turn-signal; note that this will only alert who-ever is in front of you, but, may be visible or noticed by even those behind you if it is at night-time, although, I have not tested this out yet; I got my 2nd in yesterday and installed it earlier this morning, and, I should mention that, because I have an electric mountain-bike, I was not able to mount both of the lights that I currently have to both sides of my handle-bars in an aligned manner, due to my gear-shift deal being in the way, but, I did manage to get them aligned in a manner where I have a light on the left and the other light in the centre-right (or how-ever this is supposed to be described; in any case it is close to the centre, but, a bit to the right as shown in the image from the picture I took for it for this review). I plan to get a 3rd one of these head-lights, and, now that I know about the inner plastic-rings options, I know that I can mount it to the portion that I have marked with the golden-circles; sure, this might seem like going a bit over-board, but, this is definitely a worth-while product ! I don't have anything to say about its water-resistance at this time since I do not typically go anywhere in the rain, and, I also always keep a water-proof cover over my mountain-bike when not in use so that the rain does not get it wet (boy did I wish I got it sooner rather than using a regular tarp for over a year which didn't guarantee keeping the rain out). I thought I had another thing I wanted to say about this product, but, cannot seem to think of it at this moment; how-ever, for someone with an entrepreneurial-mind, this is the kind of product I would be proud of including in my line of products as a business that sells it if I ever decided to become a part of this industry (I have other ideas for now, though, such as getting the leg-work set-up to eventually be able to quick-cultivate algae for bio-fuel in order to compete directly against the oil-companies, and, perhaps even force the oil-prices to go down since none of us in our right minds could possibly enjoy being forced to fork out upwards of 4$US or more per gallon of gas, but, this is digressing so this is where I will stop and end my review).

Good
This works well and it's nice and bright. Haven't been on any long rides with it as I just commute so can't vouch for the claimed run times but it's a nice light and seems like a quality item.

Excelente calidad
Ilumina bastante bien con la pila cargada al 100, prendida constantemente dura aproximadamente 40 minutos, si te trasladar tramos largos te recomiendo comprar 2 o usar un dinamo ya que puedes ocupar la mientras carga, es una ventaja.
