I first wore this Estée Lauder fragrance in 1980 and it remains my all time favorite fragrance to this day. I wish they would bring back the perfumed body powder in this scent. Cinnabar has a stronger scent intensity - a little bit goes a long way and tends to last all day. Whenever I wear Cinnabar, people constantly ask me what perfume I am wearing because they do not recognize the scent even though the perfume itself hasn’t changed over time. It is still the same Cinnabar I remember wearing when I was 18 years old in 1980. But like the old saying goes, sometimes what is old becomes new again. It simply gets rediscovered. I have heard there are some people who criticize Cinnabar as being “too old fashioned.” Based on the overwhelming number of positive responses I receive whenever I wear Cinnabar out in public, I have to conclude those folks are definitely in the minority. Why? Because whenever I receive compliments on my perfume choice, I am often asked to write down the name and brand of my signature scent because the individual wants to purchase a bottle for themselves. Cinnabar has a spicy scent with patchouli, clove and sandalwood undertones. If you prefer that type of perfume over one with a predominantly sweeter floral scent, then Cinnabar would be a good match for you. Sandra Bailey

Cinnabar is my favorite perfume by Estee Lauder but it's not available much anymore because it is an older fragrance. I'm very glad I can order it from amazon. I usually order it once a year.

Hasn’t changed in 40 yrs. One sniff and it sent me back years. Husband was pleasantly surprised on how he remembered it years ago. Nice scent to wear with sweaters. A little goes a long way and the scent lasts all day.

Couldn't find this scent for years. Was my 80's favorite. Scent as lovely as I remembered it. Nice size.

I purchased this specifically because it was listed as one of the closest smells to my favorite discontinued perfume, Givenchy Organza Indecence. It smells NOTHING like it. I opened it today right after it was delivered, spritzed one spray, and put the lid back on it to send back. A ring inside the lid broke! After just one spritz?! The sprayer works extremely well. I easily pushed it one time and got a full spray of perfume. Packaging looked nice. To me it smells a bit like an elderly woman. Very strong scent. Not worth it. I will never spray it again.

I've always been a fan of Cinnabar Eau de Parfum Spray..I love the festive spirit of celebration that evokes a feeling of love from the memories of shared experiences from the fragrance that never disappoints when it's used as the finishing touch after a shower.
