Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord Of The Sith Vol. 1 - Imperial Machine

The book was excellent and came quickly. I like this version of Vader and look forward to reading the next volume

Vader is such an interesting and complex character, exploring his transformation immediately after the purge adds so to his character. This is the first comic I have ever read and I instantly ordered the rest of the series as soon as I was finished.

As a fan of Star Wars I decided to give the Graphic novels a go and I was not disappointed. This story starts directly after Revenge of the Sith and has Darth Vader go on a journey to find a lightsaber. He runs into Jedi and Jedi hunters but through the power of the dark side he overcomes all obstacles. A great read for Star Wars fans.

I always wanted to know how Vader turned his saber red. Now I know. The artwork and quality of the paper is great.

I love this comic. For me personally I have never been a massive Star Wars fan. I've been a casual fan however over the past year or so I have found an all new appreciation for the Star Wars world and lore. I have always been an avid comic book reader and collector, a bit of a guilty pleasure maybe, but still continue to collect and read, since I was a kid and now currently in my late twenties. This continuation of Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vader is so well written. I have loved everything about this volume so much so that I have ordered the rest of the volumes. You do not have to be a fanatic about Star Wars to appreciate and enjoy this story, it is a must read for those that are fans of comic books and those that are fans of Star Wars. Cannot wait to read the remaining volumes!

This is a pretty good and fun graphic novel, which provides an interesting background to his lightsaber, and continues on greatly from the end of Revenge of the Sith. Vader is not overpowered here, but is instead shown to be flawed at this stage in his dark side career, which makes the action more thrilling and tense.

Yet, I love his comic book so much. I love Star Wars a lot too. I mean, this is a lot. This is a really cool comic. I love seeing dark vader fight like it's really cool
