Excellent product. I spent the last few months with irritation on my hands. As much as I wiped down my phone I couldn’t get my skin to clear up. 2 rounds of sanitizing my phone with this and 2 days later my hands feel so much better.

The Phonesoap is getting 5 stars because it outperforms every such product marketed to do what only Phonesoap can deliver based on physics alone for every device I have tested. The power of UVC germicidal light follows a rule that is as consistent as that of gravity. That rule in nature over the amount of UVC light power reaching a target surface is called the inverse square law of distance. Without getting into the math, that rule simply states that doubling the distance from a light source results in getting a quarter of its power. Phonesoap puts the UVC bulbs directly over the surfaces intended for disinfection. I can not stress enough why this is very important! Too many products have flooded the market making claims that Phonesoap does except they can't because the UVC bulbs in these knock-off devices just aren't powerful enough or in others, the bulbs are located too far away from the target areas for disinfection. This is confirmed by peeking inside with my phone's camera to see the green UV-C glowing brightly on a 2 step QuantaDose UVC test card. (Remember never expose your eyes or skin to UVC light) The same UVC test card also confirmed target areas for disinfection reached a minimum of 300 µW/cm² in real-time UVC intensity by the calibrated word legibility of the word ”ULTRAVIOLET” becoming visible when the QuantaDose card is exposed to a confirmed source of UV-C germicidal UV light. I'm changing my review to 5 stars because of the stellar customer service. I've been using my PhoneSoap almost daily, despite the scratches. They don't affect the functionality just the looks of the product. Well today I received a gift from PhoneSoap, 3 microfiber cleaning pads, an antimicrobial pen and a microfiber patch. They also included a handwritten note apologizing for my PhoneSoap not being in perfect condition and offering me not only a refund but a free PhoneSoap XL. They deserve more than 5 stars, but that's unfortunately all I can give. I'm just stunned and in awe. I bought this because I liked the idea behind the product. Like most people, I take my phone everywhere and occasionally wipe it but it doesn't really get cleaned. I do find the price to be rather expensive. I'm not entirely convinced it's worth it. I really dislike that there is no power button. When the cord is plugged in and the door is shut, the sanitizer starts automatically. It's a little irritating to have to unplug it every time I'm done using it. I like that there is ample room for my phone, the iPhone X. The tray is also deep enough that I can put my phone with my case and Pop Socket attached and still close the door. I have a few minor cosmetic issues with my device. The outside door has a scratch on it and there are a few scratches on the inside as well. A new item should arrive looking like new! If it's a refurbished or returned item, the company should say so and offer the product at a discounted price. That should be customer service 101 and a company should not be shipping less than immaculate products, especially if it's the 3rd version of that product!! Honestly, the best thing about this sanitizer is how easy it is to use. I plug it in, put my phone inside, close the door and the cleaning process starts. Once it's finished, the light turns off. When it's on, the lightning bolt lights up and there's a blue glow around the machine. The light is subtle; I've used it in a completely dark room and the light wasn't harsh at all.

I bought the phone soap a while ago but I wanted to use it for a while to see how the build quality is and if it is sturdy enough to last everyday use. So far so good! It's great that it gives me a piece of mind that my phone is going to be clean and germ-free on top of me using alcohol wipes to sanitize my phone further. My only issue I have with the phone soap, at least in my opinion is that I wish there was an on-off switch for the UV light. Sometimes I move the phone soap around from one place to another at home and every time I plug it in it automatically turns on which after some time will put extra wear on the UV bulbs. It will also turn on once you take your phone out of it and close it again. So I had to resort to using an outlet switch to plug it into so I can turn off the phone so when I'm not using it. If there was an on-off switch for this then this would definitely be a perfect product! But I would definitely recommend this for anybody who is looking for a easy way to keep your phone hygienic.

I love this thing! It keeps my phone so clean as I use it once a day while I get ready for my day.

I mean I think it works at sanitizing the phone? It does what it's supposed to do anyway. The light is nice and bright. It's big enough for any cell phone and sometimes I use it to sanitize other things too.

This is one of those somewhat niche items that you didn't realize you needed, but once you have it, you can't imagine or entertain the idea of not having it. The cost per use will pay off the purchase over time and is compatible with most smartphone types and sizes. The charger on the back is convenient so you can knock out two birds with one stone every time you want to charge your device.

Let me just say, I am a bit of a germaphobe. I have been disinfecting my phone every single night for the past few years with Lysol or Clorox disinfecting wipes. I started developing bad rashes and dry skin on my hand from the chemicals. I then started wearing gloves but even that became meticulous and the latex from the gloves also irritated my skin. I came across this when browsing Amazon one day and I am so glad that I bought it. It has saved me so much time and money. More than that, it’s has saved my sensitive skin from handling chemical wipes and cleaners. It does not leave an odor and it’s a great hands free way of sanitizing. I pop my phone in while I shower or get ready. It is so convenient and actually works! It does not make any noise and can charge while disinfecting. It’s about the size of a plastic space maker pencil box (if you remember those)! I got the pink one and it’s very cute. I sit it on my desk and it’s perfect!

It does exactly as described, charging the phone while inside works fine, the only thing I have a concern on is when closing & opening. It's a very hard closing if you lose grip of the cover, which I fear might blow the bulb in the lid. The lid is very smooth & sometime I find it hard to grip to open especially. It's a very well built unit.

Yes...this thing works as advertised. I was sceptical at first, so I decided to make my own agar plates and swabbed before and after, and I had the result after a few days and it clearly shows that this thing works.

Je peut pas garantir que ça stérilise parfait, mais je faire confiance à ceux qui ont déjà testé. Pour moi l’odeur d’ozone et la sensation de propre, c’est suffisant. Ça marche bien après 3 mois, sans grosse consume ni problèmes. Le chargeur marche aussi, mais j’ai utilisé une seule fois

Es un producto sencillo. Muy fácil y rápido de usar. El poder cargar el móvil a la vez que desinfecta es un plus a favor.
