It is a good hat, the sides do snap on, however it’s not large at all, it is adjustable but you will need a small head! I’m not sure of my hat size but isn’t that big and it’s pretty snug on me! Won’t blow off in a hurricane for sure!

I like the hat but I wish the depth was deeper.i ordered it for my son.I kept it for myself.My son has a lot of hair so the hat did fit him,but fine for me.I like the snap on for protection from rain or sun on the neck.

I have fair, sensitive skin and it gets burned quickly and sometimes severely. I finally found a hat that is lightweight, comfortable, easy to store and affordable. Being out in hot weather you don't want a heavy cover up to add to your heat, this is very lightweight. The sun is blocked from almost every angle. Keeps your neck and sides of your face ears and forehead protected. I wish the front of the hat brim was another inch longer, but other than that, this hat does the trick. Now I can be outdoors for longer periods of time, avoid skin and hair damage and painful sunburns, not become over heated and relax! The hat doesn't obstruct your vision, doesn't fall off or blow off if you use the chin strap when windy. If your on the water, you may need to wear protection on the front of your neck/chin because the hat won't cover that area. So boaters and fishermen take extra care. Save your skin and hair from damage and wear this hat.

Protects. Flaps are removable. Wind can blow flaps into your face, which is annoying when your hands are full, but i don't see a fix for that aside from weighting down the bottoms of the claps

Got this cuz I had gotten the side of my head tattooed and I had to work outside for a few days. Was an absolute life saver. I definitely recommend.

Decent except for 1snap doesn’t line up. Backup emergency hat anyway.

The most awesome hat for gardening, fishing or any outdoor activity. The hat is comfortable and breathes, the attached neck protection can be removed, but provides really good sun coverage. The hat doesn't blow off even in strong wind. Love it so much. Saved me from sunburn so many times in the garden.
