I absolutely love the idea of this. It's perfect for 5 inch cakes, but wouldn't get anything bigger. It's sturdy and durable especially for storing. It made the assembly of my baby shower's dessert table super cute!! It was worth the price and use it for all events.

Disappointing
This item is pretty however the glazing on it is very shoddy. As you can see from the photos below the bottom edge of each scallop has no glaze on it so it’s a different color and very vulnerable to chipping very poor quality given that it is a Martha Stewart item.

Let me say most of my Amazon purchases are flawless, but my cake stand was literally thrown in a box, not in original packaging as stated, and my box was crushed. My cake stand was somehow not chipped or broken in any way, so to me, that speaks volumes about the quality of this product. The shipper not so much 😕

Bellow quality expectations
Because of the brand, I had high expectations. And I got disappointed because it has low quality. The painting on the base of the “waves” is incomplete, unfinished. And the flat part is completely uneven. Unfortunately I noticed it after I brought home, in Brazil. Otherwise, I would have returned it.
