ZEshops Bowl Lotus Seeds for Planting, Pre-Scarified, 10 Count, Pond Garden

Many people who rated this with one or two stars are just doing it wrong. Do the research, then do it right! All ten seeds sprouted within 3 days, but one separated from the seed husk. I placed it back in, but I don't think it will make it. The other nine did just fine and are now planted and growing healthy and strong. I am happy with that. Honestly, I would have been happy with 6/10, so nine is great. They have broken through the soil surface and are just reaching the surface of the water today. I can't wait to see how they do. EDIT: It's 2 weeks later and the leaves started opening. These pics are just a few days apart. By tomorrow, there will be 5 more leaves open. Overall, very happy with the purchase!

5 out of 10 grew into plants using the instructions precisely. What it doesn’t say in the description is that it may take 2 years when grown from seeds to flower. I’m no expert, the plants are thriving for 18 months now, no signs of budding and the shapes of the leaves look nothing like the pictures shown on the description. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’re not the same species.

Wow! All I can say is that these seeds have been amazing. Every single one of the 10 seeds germinated, and all 10 are still growing and thriving! Before soaking them, I carefully nicked/cut through the very hard outer shell at the tip of each seed, which I think is an important step for successful germination. They sprouted surprisingly quickly after that. I started mine in a 5-gallon bucket and later transferred them to my garden pond. They have continued to grow beautifully and are now producing tall leaves above the water. I was so happy with the results that I just purchased another packet for my front garden. Now I can’t wait to see my first flowers! 🪷 Definitely recommend these seeds—just be sure to properly scarify that hard outer shell before soaking them😊

Difficult to start and keep growing. would not buy again

I’m excited to see every seed sprouting in about 3 days in my aquarium! I just tossed them in my aquarium and put some plant fertilizer in and they are growing nicely all ready. I can’t wait to see if I can get some flowers- So far they look healthy and happy- very easy to grow Update - They never opened into a Lilly pad , never opened into a flower in fact they started dying in my aquarium creating a mess. The last photo shows them dead with a strange white fuzzy material all over them that resembles cotton - I had to throw them out and clean my aquarium.

I loved these but they never bloomed

I followed the instructions, the seeds all sprouted, and i potted them and put them in my pond. The plants make pathetic silver dollar size lilly pads that die after a few days. The pads float on the water, they dont grow up out of the water as pictured. I dont know, do the plants look more like lotuses after the first year or are these just duds?
