Something you might not like at first until you get used to it
At first I didn't like the taste. It has an artificial taste and this monk fruit extract is something you have to get used to, which takes time. Before this, I was using another brand but that one was expensive. Twice as expensive at this, so I found this alternative. At just $10 and has solely monk fruit extract and no other ingredients, it was a no brained with me. This is a good healthy alternative for people with diabetes or trying to cut out sugar. It doesn't spike your sugar drastically like regular sugar. Like I said, it something you have to get used to but after you do, you get used to the taste and this becomes your go to substitute for regular sugar. Honestly I like it. It took a bit of getting used to but I take this if I travel so I can have sugar instead of getting sugar packets. Pretty good buy for the price point and just being only monk fruit. One thing i will say about this that I don't like is that it's very powdery and doesn't mix well. I first put the monk fruit sweetener first than my coffee because if I do it coffee first, it doesn't mix well and I get a clump of monk fruit that I have to break down with my spoon, but other than that it's good.

clean taste, plenty sweet, little goes long way, no impact on blood sugar, keto approved
I love monk fruit extract powder. I have been using it on and off for years. Now that it has gotten popular, there have been more offerings at better price points than when I was first buying it. I love that the price has come down. This particular size is not as much of a bargain (per ounce) compared to larger quantities, but it is a good size for daily use. I like the shaker bottle, I also like that I can spoon some out. I prefer a bottle over a zip closure bag because it is easier and cleaner to work with. Going forward if I buy a bag of it from somewhere, I will reuse bottle to refill. But it takes me a very long time to use up monkfruit powder. Dont need much to do same thing as regular sugar. Just a smidge. Play around with it. I find it easier to work with as a sweetener to top off foods or drinks, rather than trying to bake with it. If only because it is NOT a 1 to 1 ratio swap for regular sugar. Because of that, the volume in a recipe will be off. For that, a baking blend is better. I like allulose. Between the 2, no spike on blood sugar. I dont need many things in my life sweetened. I can whip up a batch of whipped cream, and enjoy it without sweeteners . BUT, when I do want a little added sweetness, I love sprinkling a little monk fruit in it. Mmmmm I'm currently very low carb, so oats are off my list, but a nice bowl of oats, pecans, and berries with a little monk fruit sprinkled on top? oh my... yum! -------------------------------------- So if you are new to it, know that a little bit goes a long way. There is nothing else added, this is pure monk fruit. The entire fruit is sweet, but the natural sugars in monk fruit are not the main compounds responsible for its sweetness. Monk fruit extract actually gets its intense sweetness from unique antioxidants called mogrosides, an inner part of the fruit. There are various mogrosides contained within, and the one used here is specifically mogroside V. "25%", which is a solid amount, and should be listed on quality brands. XPRS states that it is 25%. It gives the greatest bang for the buck, and taste buds. A couple components in the monk fruit are sweeter, but there is less of it--- making it not as conducive to extracting. Another fun fact: The actual product- thought it doesnt say, is going to be from China or Thailand, BECAUSE monk fruit is NATIVE to China and Thailand, nowhere else.

I like it!
Trying to live a sugar free life style as much as possible, while also not wanting to consume a ton of artificial sweeteners. I bought this and a liquid one to experiment with. There are two places I really wanted to see if it would work. One is my coffee and the other is Bread and Butter pickles. I love B&B pickles and usually buy the sugar free. I use them as a snack, hamburgrs, hotdogs, chicken sandwich, tuna/chicken/egg salad, etc. You get the picture :). So I made refrigerator B&B Pickles and they turned out really really good! I was impressed. There's still a little tweaking to do, but not much. Its hard to find a substitute for that brown sugar taste. So I did get maple extract that I will add a bit next time. Okay now for the coffee. I like flavored creamers that are, as you know, so sweet. Its my treat to take on my Big Girl day every morning. So I made coffee creamer with a pint of half n half, vanilla & maple extracts and powder monk fruit, it is really good! There is a difference in the taste between the powder and the liquid. I'm still experimenting. When I am just doing coffee and half and half I prefer the liquid. When you first smell and taste the powder on your finger tip, you're like no way yuck. But after diluting it and seeing how little you need, the taste changes in what you are making. Does it have a different taste than sugar, yes of course, its not sugar, but its not a taste that lingers. It does not have an artificial sweetener after taste, which is awesome. And the most important of all, it's natural and good for you. Its not sugar, so don't expect it to be sugar. However, I'm satisfied with how it sweetened my pickles and creamer. I'm looking forward to trying more things with it.

Xlnt product at the lowest price!
I just finished my 1st bottle of this xprs monk fruit extract powder with 25% mogroside and the first Monk fruit sweetener I have ever had so I didn't know what to expect except from the reviews of other people. I spent hours reading all the reviews of this brand and other brands trying to figure out price, amount of servings, sweetness and whatever else I could think of to compare and I came to the conclusion that this product came out on top in my opinion. The sweetness is determined by the percentage of mogrocides and at 25% that's pretty much up there. I believe this company also has one at 50%, but that costs a lot more and I didn't want to experiment with a really expensive option for the first time. Many of the brands don't even tell you what the mogroside % is but they all tell you that monk fruit is 100 - 200 times the sweetness of sugar. DO NOT BELIEVE THAT! Maybe that's true in the raw form but in the extracted powder I would say it's more like eight times sweeter than sugar. When I first opened it it smelled kind of weird but not really bad and when I tasted a little on my finger it was about the same, unusual but not really bad. It took me about a day to get used to it and see how much to use for my taste. Mostly I use it in liquids, mainly herbal teas and smoothies. I like things pretty sweet and I find that using 1/8 of a level teaspoon to a cup of tea 8 to 10 oz works good for me but adjust to your own taste. When making tea with the monk fruit powder My experience is that it's better to add it to cold water and then boil or microwave or add very hot water over the powder and it will dissolve quickly. It does tend to clump and if you spoon it into steaming hot water it will clump and stick to the spoon but a short time kept in the hot water and it will dissolve. Using in cold or hot liquids in blender works well to. I use about half a teaspoon per day and this first container has lasted me about 2 months. I have felt no ill effects from it and I've read that it does not contribute to dental cavities and has zero calories so I'm definitely sold.

Absolutely Horrible!
This tastes like chemicals and has a horrible after taste. I don't know where this was sourced from but don't buy it. I tried to return it but there is a no return policy for this item. I think they know it's horrible and that's why there is a no return policy!

Stronger than sugar, but weak compared to other pure extracts.
It does sweeten with a small amount, but I have doubts about the claim of 25% Mogroside, as I need to use multiple more scoops (~4x more) of this extract to reach the same sweetening power of comparable stevia/monk extract. In my opinion, I would rather spend more for a purer monk fruit extract, as this monk fruit extract seems to be less refined, therefore there is a noticeable "golden" flavor to it, especially when you need to add so much more than I have expected from a high purity extract. I had to use ~1/8tsp (4-5x 1/32tsp) to achieve an equivalent sweetness of ~1tbsp of sugar. Not going to rebuy as it doesn't fit my needs, but for someone looking for a less processed sugar substitute, this might be what you want. It doesn't have the bitter aftertaste that you can get with some Stevias, but it also is weaker than the super pure stevia/monk extracts.

Nutra Monk Fruit Extract Powder
Love this in helping to not spike my glucose. Just a tap is enough for my coffee and it provides enough sweetness without being too much.

Don't believe the hype!
I'm just going to be blunt about this and say this stuff tastes like crap. First off, yes, it is definitely sweeter than sugar. But it is not 250 times sweeter or whatever nonsense these gonzo marketers make up. They also claim that Splenda is like 700 times sweeter than sugar, but monk fruit is definitely sweeter than Splenda so no way in hell. Second, this stuff basically tastes like a combination of mushrooms, sugar, and dirt. Honestly it's downright abysmal and horrid. Third, this stuff is grotesquely overpriced and you do not get 740 servings or whatever nonsense is on the label. That number is highly relative/subjective, because what they consider a serving is so minuscule that you can barely taste anything at all. In my quest to find a suitable alternative to sugar which is incredibly unhealthy and contains way too many junk calories, unfortunately monk fruit won't be my go-to.
