Don't have to keep track of blade cover since it folds way and for the length it is a good price.

I bought this to trim some soft wood, mulberry trees on my son's property. The saw is sharp and easy to handle. However, on the second use, the locking clip broke. I am unsure as to what exactly broke because I didn't know when the lock broke or whether anything fell out. It still closes to protect you from the blade. for carrying. It still saws, but requires a bit more care to keep the blade straight. The likelihood of blade collapse causing injury is low as a tree branch will protect your hand. The cost was low, so I will keep it.

Great for light to moderate work. Will handle any wood you would need for a camp fire to keep you warm at night. It is light weight so will not weigh you down.The only thing is does not come with any sheath or pouch to carry it. It will easily fit in the bottle holder on most backpacks.

I bring it on some trips I take and it helps me collect fatwood easily and saw branches. I recommend this

Worked great for taking down some smaller sucker growth branches. Not sure how well it would hold up to bigger branches, but I mostly wanted this for smaller limbs so no issues yet. Blade does seem a tad flimsy, so I could see it causing issues if you're careless and bend it too far. Locking mechanism seems to work as expected.edit: I used this to clean up a fairly large limb that came down. It easily cut through the 2-3" diameter branches and made quick work of cleaning it up.

Sawed some dead limbs with no problems.
