This RC Speed Boat is really GREAT!
I have to say, I am very impressed with this product. The design, engineering, performance and aesthetic are all top notch for what I consider an extremely reasonable price point. It looks amazing cutting through the water, handles great and is very, very fast for not being a much more expensive pro kit. The water cooled electric motor seems like a great feature that was executed quite well. Based on a close inspection of its manufacturing quality and several uses I would certainly buy this boat again for myself or as a gift and would recommend it to someone else without hesitation. I like it a lot!One note that may help: Do please take advantage of and use the thoughtfully provided rubber nose guard included in the packaging if you plan to use this boat in a vinyl lined swimming pool. The acceleration is impressive and even if you are a good and careful operator you will likely puncture your liner at the waterline if you do not utilize the included rubber bow guard. (Not mentioned in user's manual but included in the box and obvious contemplated use/installation)I took the time to compare this boat to all of the other offerings on Amazon at the time and it was the obvious choice. Having received and used it, it has exceeded my expectations in every respect. Great product, great value and lots of fun!

Fun for Summer
The nine-year-old who got this for his birthday had a blast. The boat was easy to operate, and he took the advice of other operators about reversing and keeping the boat safe. The boat is fast and agile. I would recommend this to anyone about ten and up for a fun day on the water.

If you like running RC vehicles on land wait till you try these boats on water!
These are great little boats! They are lots of fun and really fast! The larger the body of water the better, these boats want to go and the remote has a very long range so a large lake or pond is a great place to run them. We take them to the beach and run them in the Gulf of Mexico. Now this is not recommended by the manufacturer so you are taking a risk that your boat may not survive the saltwater. You will have to be over the top with preventative measures and maintenance to keep your boat in good operating condition running it in saltwater and even then things can go bad from corrosion. Research it online to get helpful ideas on running an RC boat in saltwater. Running in light waves allows you to really do some stunts and jumps. If you flip it this little boat can be easily righted using your remote. This boat can be ran in reverse but I would recommend doing it sparingly or not at all in saltwater as it can push water into your boat. They are easy to operate, basically like any RC car or truck and out in open water you don’t have to worry about hitting anything. Do not drop your remote in the water it is definitely not waterproof!

Great boat, bad batteries!
The media could not be loaded. The boat is awesome and we loved everything about it on day one. Now we are on day 2 and the batteries won’t charge. So sad and frustrating since we love everything else about the boat. Great design and maneuverability. Super flipping motion for if the boat capsizes. Also, great low battery notification so that the boat can be driven back to shore before batteries die. Also, we were very happy with the reverse feature on this boat.

Nice quality for the price
It's cool for younger kids. The big kids (Adults) go big with a 6S boat, or go home.

Didn't work
Charged the batteries overnight installed per the instructions. Placed in the water, but nothing happened. Remote light kept blinking but the boat wouldn't connect or respond in any way in or out of the water.

Tons of Fun! Much faster than you might expect...
I'm a gear-head. I love machines and toys. I am NOT an RC guy - just never got into it. A serious RC person might poo poo this little thing, but it is above average in my book for entry level toys. This thing hauls!!! I bought it for my pool. It's too fast for my pool, frankly, but I'm not upset about it. It can go slower if you drive it slower, but it's so much fun to hit the "gas" and see it launch, that you're going to want to do it over and over. Some of my takeaways are:- Buy spare batteries if you plan to run it in a pond, or if you have a big pool - It comes with two, and they recharge fast. In my small pool, one battery lasts a long time. The controller gives little (loud) beeps when the battery is running low. You MUST pay attention to this in a big body of water, as when the battery is done, it's done. You'll get one last warning where the beeps keep coming until it dies, but you've got maybe 30 seconds until it's cashed.- The controller has quite good range and the boat is very responsive. If you are going to test the limits of range in a pond, it would be wise to have a boat or some other method of recovery ready.- If you are new to RC toys, you should prepare yourself for wanting more. It is seriously fun. I find myself grinning ear to ear when I'm playing with it.- The boat comes with a little rubber cover for the nose (bow) of the boat. I made the mistake of throwing it away, because I thought it was just for packaging. If you run this in a pool, you are going to want this BUMPER on the boat to protect the hull. It's fast; you WILL hit the side of your pool and mash the tip of the hull without it. Fortunately I was able to order a new one on Amazon.- Boat comes with spare parts - which suggests it is possible to damage things - but also that it's a quality enough toy to account for that.BOTTOM LINE - IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THESE - BUY ONE!!!
