They work pretty good. They do keep the flies away Easy to set up and I think they for the most part keep them away. Only issue I don’t like is you can’t put them back down so it’s kinda hard to put them away.

These fly repellent fans are a great solution for keeping flies away from food during picnics, BBQs, parties, and outdoor gatherings. The holographic blades create a visual deterrent that helps keep insects away without using chemicals. I like that the blades are soft and stop immediately if touched, making them safer around children and pets. The 4-pack provides excellent coverage for larger tables, and the battery-powered design makes them portable and easy to use anywhere. I bought these fly fans to keep bugs away from food, and they work even better than expected. They are quiet, easy to use, and the spinning blades effectively keep flies away without using chemicals. They’re perfect for barbecues, picnics, and patio meals. They’re also lightweight and easy to carry. Definitely a great purchase, and I highly recommend them!

I like using these fans to keep the bugs away from the food. It's a little tricky to place these close enough to the food to shoo away the bugs but not hit the person's hand. The first set that arrived had a defective unit so I had to return it. The next set worked well. Note - once you attach the fan, it doesn't come off which makes storing them a little awkward.

I was honestly surprised by how well these worked. We used them outside on our patio during meals and the flies stayed away which made a big difference. They’re quiet, not distracting and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. The only downside is the collapsibility. They are pretty difficult to collapse back down and don’t feel super smooth or intuitive when trying to store them. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s definitely a bit annoying. Overall I’d still recommend them because the performance is solid. I just wish they were easier to put away.
