The Berenstain Bears: Kindness Counts

Good book for the grandkids.

We love these books, they teach valuable lesson and are easy to read. My daughter has a lot of these books and will continue to collect them

Always a good book to read to children. And you cannot start too soon.

I loved the Berenstain Bears books as a child and I also love reading them to my children now. When I purchase one of these books, I am sure without a doubt I am getting a quality story that will teach my children a valuable lesson. I absolutely love the books that have Bible verses in them as this one does. They add extra meaning to story time in the evenings. In this particular book, Brother Bear befriends a younger cub and teaches him all about model airplanes. In the end of the book, he is rewarded for his kindness by the younger cubs older cousin who builds and flies model rocket ships. As a result, Brother becomes the youngest member of the model rocket club.

Wonderful book about Brother Bear, who gets included by Father bear as he's learning to build model airplanes and how he feels being included. Brother bear then pays it forward when he is asked by a younger bear if he can be included. The Berenstain Bear books have always been a favorite, but sometimes a bit too long for younger readers. This one is a little less wordy and the storyline holds the interest for longer. Overall, the story has a wonderful message for young readers about remembering to include others the way you've been included.

It always amazed me how well these BB stories held up over time from when I was a kid to now about 30 years later that many of these still ring true.I liked the message in this one - being nice to others does come back to you.Since Brother let a much younger cub help him with his model airplanes, he was able to help an older group of bears launch a rocket.Nicely illustrated and on-point with the message.Makes my son want to build and fly model airplanes

I don't like this book's message at all. It basically says that if you are nice to someone, someone will be nice to you in return-- that we are nice to others in order to get something back. That's not the message I want to send to my child. It's unfortunate because we love all of the other Berenstain Bears books we've bought.

The Berensteins are members of my family. I'm a granny now and the second generation are loving the Bears. This is another very true to life un-prissy story which brings out another human truth for living together. It is so well told without the bears being too goody goody. I have been buying lots of these lately for my grand children aged 4-7.

My daughter loves these books, as I did too. Amazon sells them for a fair price and I was happy with this purchase. Teaches valuable lessons, arrived in good shape and fast shipping. NOTE this is from there religious series I had read reviews and did not want to order the religious book but did order by mistake as I had a few different books in my cart but it really only mentions a quote on 1 page and is not a big deal. Easy to skip over if you don’t want to include it or u can include while reading to your child. I am happy with this book.

Brother helps a younger cub build a model airplane and in return he is shown how to build a rocket. Mentors are important in spiritual formation as well as life skills.
