Why is there a Prop 65 warning on this conditioner? What ingredient prompts this warning and should I be concerned using it?

Can not answer that for you, I have used it for years and no problems. Just wash your hands after using it.

Is this product cruelty free?

I attempted to contact the parent company of Apple Brand, Excelda Manufacturing, concerning this issue. Their customer service email address has been disabled and I have not been able to reach them. I recommend that anyone concerned with this issue call the phone number on the package, shown in the picture on the Amazon listing, (I'm not allowed to post a number in my answer) and attempt to contact them directly to inquire. I have not been able to get them to answer, when attempting to ask other questions about this product, but you may have better luck. Apple Brand is a sub-brand of a large chemical manufacturer, again, Excelda Manufacturing, and they manufacturer all kinds of chemicals for all kinds of purposes. If this specific product is not tested on animals, other products that they make would still be, as mandated by federal statute, given how many different products they make that must be tested. Does it have any type of wax or is just a brand name?

Wax-free as the title suggests. This is a leather conditioner. I have used this on my handbags for years. Great product
