They are very flexible. I was thinking it was a little harder silicone. When you fill them up they are hard to carry because they are so flexible. On the round and diamond trays it is hard to figure out how much is in there, hard to fill up. I do like the tops being on them but they are so flexible too it is really hard to keep them on. I've filled them up so what I thought was full, if you overflow you get water on the very top of the tray and it is very hard to carry. I have to admit they are easier to get the ice out of the trays. I'm giving them another try.

Would buy again, makes great decorative ice cubs.

These are great little ice cube trays. Like the different shapes. Makes them kinda fun. I do wish they were slightly less flexible, it can make it tough to get from sink to freezer without spilling. Of course I have the same problem with regular ice cube trays. The only other thing I'd change is I wish they were bigger. But I almost always wish ice cubes were bigger. I use a very large water glass, that I keep with me all day every day.

This ice tray makes the most beautiful rose ice cubes! The silicone makes it easy to remove.
