High quality stainless steel. Screen is fine enough not to let seeds out. Fit of wide mouth jars is perfect just make sure you have the rings.

QUALITY...
This item is JUNK... It rusted after one week, probably sooner but I realized it when I opened the jar to get the sprouts out! Amazon should not be selling this junk but hey, they simply don;' care and are only after our $$$. Doing my best to use them as little as possible these days...

The lids came quickly and were exactly as described. I cut off one star because they rusted while growing the sprouts

What a value!
These are quality all the way. They fit perfectly which certainly eases use and quantity for cost ratio is fantastic. Being screens meant for draining, I never really considered storage capacity as a factor, but if asked to rate it, the storage capacity was nil.
