It printed beautifully with my printer, but you definitely have to set the transparency at 50%. I set the purple bats at about 80% and they printed out lavender, I thought it was enough, but once I shrunk them, they turned deep purple, so for sure pay attention to that. I forget to adjust the goldfish, so they are very intense. The shrunken pieces have a matte texture on the printed side, and the back is kind of shiny. The printable side is the matte side, not the shiny side. The shrinking- I used my dad’s heat gun, on the lower setting. They curl up like crazy, but then as they reach maximum shrink they start to flatten back out. I then put them between two smooth pieces of chipboard for a minute to completely flatten them. You have to watch for the curled up bits that touch, as they tend to stick to themselves when in the melty phase, but you can pause the heating and gently unstick them, then keep heating until they flatten. I used a silicon spatula to hold them down, and heated them on a turned over metal baking pan. They shrink a lot, the bigger bats and the fish were as wide as the paper could manage, the little scrap with the green bee was marked with inch marks. I might get myself a less intense heat gun, maybe one of the little crafting ones, so I don’t have to keep borrowing my dad’s. Cutting out- cut before baking! I don’t have a cutting machine, so I hand cut with scissors. First, the film is brittle, so be very careful cutting details, the scissors can crack the plastic, especially when trying to cut into a corner or into an angle. I recommend looser curvier outlines, rather than super detailed cutting outlines. Sharp scissors help too. If you’re going to hole punch, DO IT BEFORE YOU SHRINK. One con, the back picks up lint from whatever surface it’s on as it shrinks and it doesn’t come off, so maybe use some parchment or something under them . I also had to gently pry them up from the chipboard with a fingernail after they cooked. It did make a hot plastic smell while cooking, so I recommend proper ventilation and a mask to avoid any potential toxic inhalations. All in all, very pleased with the performance, hopefully future orders will work this well, would buy again.

This is my second purchase and the only shrink wrap paper I've used so I can't compare it to another. With that being said, this works so well, I don't feel the need to look any further. I've been using it to make badge reels and as long as I get my colors correctly, it turns out great! I use my deep cut blade on my Cricut Explore 4, using acetate cut with more pressure and to ensure its an easily peel off, I make a couple passes before removing it. I heat mine with a heat gun as I'm not making too many at once and it turns out great! I highly recommend this brand as I intened to continue purchasing these.

Great quality for the price. I use an espon ink jet printer. They printed great definitely adjust the brightness on your image, you do need to let them dry before cutting which can take a bit to completely dry. They cut easy and use a hole puncher on. They shrank down with no issues and to make sure they were flat I put a sheet on top while they cooled. I definitely recommend using a uv resin on them to fix the "frosted" side. But for the price I am very happy with them. Definitely are pretty transparent. I was surprised with how little reviews this had. Will definitely be ordering more of them for my earrings.

I like it was perfect but I did have printer issue took several times to get my printer to pull sheet threw nothing to do with sheet it was my printer wasn't made for thick stuff ..had to put it on index card setting to get it pull it threw ..once printed it worked great

I am leaving 4 stars for one reason and I'll get into it in a minute. So based on the reviews I hesitated to order this product but decided to give it a shot and still glad I did regardless of the cons. Some pros to using this product is that it is affordable and the images do print out clear. It shrinks down perfectly. It is a perfect alternative to the other brand I'm not sure if I can mention the name but if you have explored making shrinky dink I'm sure you will know the name brand I am referring to. Another pro is that the shiny part of the shrink paper leaves you with a polished backing to your image and you do not need to seal it with uv resin. Some cons to this product is that when cutting out your printed image it does tend to Crack because the material is a little bit thick and it does mess with your shrink image when you heat it up at the part that cracked so that is something to be aware about and look out for. Also, the shiny side will have some ink smeared on the back after printing but a simple fix just by wiping it off with an alcohol wipe after shrinking the image. Someone left a review that the ink when printed had smeared and never dried and thats because that person didnt read the instructions properly and didnt print on the right side of the shrink paper. So here's a few tips make sure that you print on the matte side not the shiny side. Also to prevent cracking when you are cutting very intricate shapes use an exacto knife for those difficult areas.

I wanted to do a project with my son and remembered shrinky dinks. I found this printable shrinky dink paper and thought it would be fun to print photos for keychains. This paper works perfectly! You can create a collage of photos on your phone/computer to save paper. The only thing I’d say is, adjust the brightness of your photos because it ends up pretty dark, especially if the subject of the photo is black. You can use a regular hole punch to create the holes, the holes will shrink up quite a bit. You also need an inkjet printer. Make sure you print onto the frosted side. That side should also be facing up in the oven. I followed the instructions in the pack to the T and it worked. I think I had more fun than my kid making these! I will definitely be buying again.

Beware of the size - without reading the dimensions, I assumed it was 8.5x11 size. My mistake. The sizing is odd. It printed on my Epson Ecotank printer fine, with high quality settings on presentation matte setting. However, the Cricut couldn't read the registration marks because of the difference in dimensions. I had to hand cut the images. When I baked it, following instructions, they did come out well - thick, sturdy and crisp images. I found that rectangular shapes shrink unevenly, and it warped sideways slightly.

I love these! They're super easy to work with :) I notice a few reviews talk about warping, so here's a tutorial on how to prevent that! If you plan on using these with a printer, lower the opacity of your images by 60 PERCENT. You can do this with any free photo editing software. I used Canva. When this plastic shrinks, the colors get considerably darker. Your images will look extremely washed out before baking, this is what you want. If you're not using a printer, color your pieces EXTREMELY lightly. HOW TO GET A PERFECT BAKE EVERY TIME: -Preheat your oven to 325°F -Have two identical pans, I used circular pizza pans -Prepare two sheets of parchment paper. One for the pan, one for later. -Lay your shrink paper GLOSSY SIDE DOWN on your pan. Baking glossy side up is what causes warping. -Put your pan in the oven and watch. It will take about 10-30 seconds for the shrinking to start. Once the shrinking stops, pull out of the oven. This will take about a 1-2 minutes. -Immediately upon taking out of the oven, lay the second piece of parchment paper mentioned earlier on top of your creations. -Take your second pan, and place on top of your creations. Apply pressure for about 10-20 seconds. This will assure that your plastic hardens flat. Boom! Perfectly flat bakes!

This was a huge amount of fun, and after a bit of fiddling with the printer settings, worked really well. Fun for both adults and small people, and some really lovely treasured keyrings were made. Great for a rainy day afternoon crafting session!

Great nostalgic fun activity. I saw a really great gift idea for making personalised keyrings for friends and I had to give it a try. This paper was perfect for it. I turned pictures into key-rings and friends loved them. The value for money was pretty good, you can fit a lot onto one page - depending on how small you want them to go. The texture of the paper leaves a matt appearance. I ended up using UV setting resin to put on top, to give a more robust and glossy finish. Super easy to use, but definitely make sure you print on the correct side, otherwise you waste a piece - It scratches off when you accidentally print on the incorrect side - I was silly and tried to wipe it off with wet cloth - which I would definitely not recommend, made the page completely un-usable.

The printable shrink plastic works really well and good value for money. It’s easy to use and keeps my kids busy crafting. The quality is also good.

This material is lots of fun. Have tried colouring with oil pastels and then punching out with large craft punches (as used for paper crafts) and the shrinkage is high (as on the instructions) but it intensifies the colours really well and gives excellent detail on the shiny side. The other side stays matte and is textured. All sorts of shapes to create including putting holes in pieces to make loops and hoops and buttons. Use the pieces for jewelry and for craft projects like textile feature pieces.
