NOT SWEET!!! LOW SUGAR. Tastes good, mixes well (CHOCOLATE)
I was looking for a flavored whey concentrate protein that would be low carb/high protein from grass fed cows and not taste too sweet (chocolate version) that doesn't break the bank. It's pretty much impossible to find a flavored grass fed protein that is not sickly sweet (American customer preference maybe?) This protein is made of US grass fed cows and contains stevia, monk fruit, and sunflower lecithin. Each serving has 3g carbs and 24g protein. There are 30 servings in the tub, which comes half filled (anyone know why the companies do this??) OVERALL: Best grass-fed/clean chocolate flavor whey concentrate given the carb/protein/non-sweet taste/price ratio. Downsides: - You don't know where the cows come from or if there are any quality certifications. I have had trouble with American processed milk and not European/Australian/NZ milk in the past. So if you've had trouble with American milk, please be aware that this brand advertises the milk as US sourced. If you want non-US grass fed milk, I have found that Antler farms has whey isolate from New Zealand and Protein Factory has whey isolate and concentrate (non flavored) from New Zealand and Germany. These products look super clean and are on my list (they are also more expensive or unflavored, so I stared with this one). The Legion brand also has whey isolate from Irish grass fed cows, but the flavored versions contain more additives: maltodextrin, xantham gum, sunflower lecithin, stevia. I do not recommend the flavored Promix/Naked brands if you want to limit your sugar (see below.) YES, I HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH TIME RESEARCHING THIS. - This still has stevia and monk fruit as sweeteners. And sunflower lecithin. I wish it only had the cacao powder. As a result it tastes a bit like cheap milk chocolate (but anything is better than the tongue curdling sickly chemical sweetness of most other brands.) - Big tub. Can they please get rid of this? How bad is this for the planet, seriously. Grass fed cows and big plastic tubs!!! Siiiigh.... Upsides: - It's low sugar. Each serving has only 3g carbs and 24g protein. The Naked/Promix brands have nearly 8g carbs/sugar from coconut sugar in each serving of their flavored varieties. The daily recommended intake of sugar for women is 25g, so you can do the math! - So far, no bloating or tummy issues. - Mixes well with plain water in a shaker bottle. Does not clump and it is not chalky. It is also not soapy. - Taste: it does not taste chemical and is also not very sweet at all, so you can mix this with other things like coffee or bananas. The stronger part of the taste is the "cheap milk chocolate" rather than the sweetness. So it just depends on what you like. Don't expect a creamy rich delish chocolate tasting shake! If you do, you will not like this. But I challenge you to find a chocolate flavored whey with all the other benefits. If you find it, please leave a comment, I would love to try it.

Delicious, clean ingredients. We choose this for our whole family
We've been buying Levels Chocolate Whey Protein Powder every month, and it's become a staple in our house. The chocolate flavor is delicious without tasting overly sweet or artificial, and it blends incredibly smoothly. Every morning my kids make smoothies with it, and it mixes perfectly with fruit, yogurt, and milk without leaving a gritty texture or clumps. It's one of the few protein powders we've found that everyone in the family actually enjoys. My mom also uses it daily, but she keeps it even simpler. She just shakes it with unsweetened almond milk, and it dissolves easily with a smooth, creamy texture. Since she sometimes struggles to get enough protein, this has been an easy and tasty way to help her meet her daily protein goals. We appreciate the clean ingredients, great taste, and consistent quality. After trying several different brands, this is the one we continue to come back to month after month. Highly recommend!

Really solid protein option.
Iโve tried quite a few whey protein powders over the years, and Levels Grass Fed Whey Protein has quickly become one of my favorites. Taste: The first thing I noticed was how good it tastes. Itโs not overly sweet or artificial-tasting like a lot of protein powders out there. The flavor is smooth and natural, which makes it easy to drink consistently. Even just mixed with water, itโs enjoyable โ and with milk or in a smoothie, itโs even better. Clean ingredients: One of the main reasons I chose this brand is the ingredient list. Itโs refreshingly simple and clean. No artificial sweeteners, no unnecessary fillers โ just straightforward whey protein sourced from grass-fed cows. If you care about what youโre putting into your body, this is a big plus. Mixability: It dissolves extremely well. I use a shaker bottle, and it blends quickly without clumping. No gritty texture, no chunks at the bottom. It also works great in a blender for smoothies and doesnโt foam up excessively. Performance & digestion: Itโs easy on the stomach and doesnโt leave me feeling bloated, which has been an issue for me with other brands. It fits perfectly into my post-workout routine. If youโre looking for a whey protein that: Tastes good without being overly sweet Has clean, simple ingredients Mixes easily without clumps Is easy to digest This is a solid choice. Definitely something Iโll continue buying.

Great Protein Powder, Bulky Packaging
Really enjoying this protein powder. The chocolate flavor is good, it blends well, and isn't chalky like many others I've tried. I also appreciate the clean ingredient list. My only suggestion is the packaging. The tub is quite bulky and not very travel-friendly. I'd love to see Levels offer a resealable bag option. Overall, a great protein powder, and I'll definitely buy it again.

Little pricy but worth it
I thought it was pretty smooth and tasty. Not a huge or at all after taste. Ingredients list small worked really well in a smoothie. Overall I really liked it. Scoop included. Good texture. High protein level. Definitely recommend

Levels is the best.
I really can't say I want to switch to anything else. Levels remains the superior option. Few ingredients, max nutrition, and a great taste that usually blends well. But holy cow right now a bottle is 130, so make sure you get the right flavor! Otherwise, I won't go back to the others even if they are cheaper. I really don't like any of the big fillers or sucrose or any other ingredient that doesn't need to be there for my personal needs. Top product despite the price increase.

GREAT TASTE, NO GAS, very few carbs!
In the past when I tried protein powder, the taste was chalky, or otherwise, just nasty, or semi-palitable. Most of the time they gave me bloating and/or gas. That was never an enjoyable situation.... for other's. ๐ But I love Levels. I buy one of the Chocolates, or sometimes Strawberry, but usually Chocolate. My way is, first mixing it with about a cup of super hot water and shaking it so that it completely dissolves, then I add more hot water (which makes it taste like hot chocolate) or I then add cold water with ice cubes to drink it after my workout. Either way, I love it! Almost 64 and just getting back in after years and years of not working out, just sitting on the phone doing business, but now definitely seeing results. Just wish I would have started before going into Summer single. ๐ But we all gotta start working out again at some point, and this will help you put on muscle.

Not Bad, Depending On The Price
The chocolate is a little too sweet. So is the vanilla. But the big drawback is that the price is not competitive with comparable products. $89.99 for the 5lb container is way too expensive for this product. I purchased them both at $63.99 each which was within reason compared to other protein powders I buy. I would definitely buy them again at that price but not at $89.99.
