Road Trip Friendly
I bought these for my boyfriend and his best friend for a road trip. They absolutely had a blast with it as they drove in separate cars. From the Rocky Mountains to the Nevada deserts, the walkie-talkies were a success!

Cruise
Everyone commented on my 13 year old daughter and I ability to communicate. It worked throughout the boat except when we were on opposite ends of the ship. Other than that they worked great. Carnival has an app to communicate via text but it doesnโt ping you or ring. ($5 for text per person) So if you donโt look at the app you donโt know someone texted up. The walkie can ring or you hear a person talking. I recommend for a cruise

Range
For the most part they are great .. We got them for a family convoy on the hwy . I figured the hwy was open and clear enough for some good range if someone fell behind ... They were not . We got about a half to 1 mile of range on high power . I could still see them in my mirror way back, but even with line of sight on a clear open hwy ... a mile was about all they could do ...

Batteries not rechargeable
I didn't realize when I ordered them that the batteries are not rechargeable. They use 3AA batteries and those didn't last long. It's going to cost a lot to use. Directions are not very easy to understand.

They work great! Kids love them and they have great range
My daughter can take these all over our small town and talk to me with the other back at home. It even picked up some other signals from the highway. I like the lanyard it comes with also. There is also a belt clip. Takes 3 batteries each.

Good quality
Used these as a way to keep an ear out for my kids playing outside. They work great on our acre distance. We had four and they all worked great together. Great for a family cruise or something as well

Will break after a week
Unfortunately, the product stopped working after one week. There is no way to resolve the issue so we just have to throw them away. The other thing to consider if purchasing this is that there is a lot of crossover with other devices so you will hear other people talking on other channels. Helpful to know if you have children using them. I would definitely look for another product and spend a couple extra dollars.

Got them for camping
No issues, I prefer the replaceable batteries to rechargeables for these
