Beautiful formula
I bought both formulations of HaruHaru sunscreen and I loved both formulations. the Moisture AiryFit has become my daily sunscreen but I use this one mostly on weekends. I was previously using the DRMTLGY SPF 45 sunscreen but wanted one that was a bit more budget friendly, was cruelty free, reef safe, and was a 2-in-1 moisturizer and sunscreen step. HaruHaru Wonder and both their formulations were both great and checked all the boxes. This mineral version does have a slight white cast initially, after warming up on the skin for ~10-15 minutes, it does melt into the skin and white cast is no longer visible for my skin. I am a pretty average like "buff beige" skin tone so this has been my experience. It might be more notice on someone with a darker skin tone so if you are darker skinned but want to give these a try, the Moisture AiryFit might be a better fit for you, or if you don't mind a slight white cast initially and want a mineral sunscreen, this one really is a beautiful formulation. Very budget friendly so even if you just want to give this a try, I would say go for it!

Matte!!
I'm an oily person especially on my forehead and nose. I've been using cheaper sunscreen that have me looking super greasy after 2 hours. It's been four hours of working in the direct sun and my forehead is more matte than my usual without sunscreen! Great product:)

What a medium skin tone thinks (after 3 months)
What really intrigued me about this sunscreen, is that it’s made by Kolmar (the same company that makes the Beauty of Josen Rice Sunscreen that everyone loves) And just like that sunscreen, this sunscreen is also elegant in its own way. What makes this sunscreen look beautiful is that it’s made of Cyclohexasiloxane which is a subtle silky lightweight silicone that’s used in cosmetics (like foundation/concealers/primers) I love the way it makes your skin looks as a skincare & no makeup wearer. Now…as for the whitecast, if you apply sunscreen only once a day or only apply sunscreen once under makeup, beautiful—beyond that for a medium/netural skin tone not good. White cast is present after maybe 2-3 reapplications. As for the finish, I have dry/oily/combination skin & it gives your skin a subtle smooth look (bc of the Cyclohexasiloxane) & during the summer you will look glowly, but not ugly/gross/glowy & but during the winter it looks semi-matte (my skin is typically less oily and products don’t smudge as much in winter versus summer)But I ended up using it for 3 months!!! I kept using it bc I love the Cyclohexasiloxane formula & it’s finish/properties, but to make it wearable as a medium skin tone + someone who reapplies sunscreen, I mixed it with my tinted sunscreens that were too dark on me during winter.

give skin a glow
for mineral sunscreen its one of my fav. Of course its unfair to compare it to the chemical sunscreens. It initially leaves a white cast, but a few mins later it disappears and gives my skin a nice brightening and glowing effect. This is a repurchase so definitely love it.

whitecast
So, I kind of bought into the hype about this. I generally stay away from mineral sunscreens because of the whitecast. I read a few reviews that said there was no whitecast with this, so I bit the bullet. So, my experience is there is a whitecast. Perhaps not as bad as some others, but still a whitecast. On the other side of things, it is kinda matte - it goes on kinda shiny but once it settles, it had a more matte finish. No eye irritation. I would not buy this again, personally - just because of the whitecast issue. I am sort of surprised that a korean sunscreen would have this issue, honestly.

Destroyed my Under eyes
I really thought I liked this at first. I am extremely picky about sunscreen, have very clog-prone skin, chronic hormonal acne as well as fungal acne and related red/dry patches. This sunscreen had a nice texture going on and didn't initially sting my eyes but after reapplying a second time after two hours I noticed that all the skin around my eyes was absolutely on fire, almost like a chemical burn feeling. After thoroughly cleaning off I had soooo much redness and irritation around my eyes and all along the bridge of my nose, noticeable texture, and three new breakouts. It also had re-irritated areas where I previously had folliculitis (malessezia) and fungal acne that now has to be re-treated. Very, very dissappointed.

Great option for sensitive skin!
I absolutely love this sunscreen. I use Haruharus products very well, especially from their black rice collection. This sunscreen is one of them. This is the physical sunscreen while the black rice sunscreen with the yellow packaging is the chemical one. I know a lot of people get confused on that. I have really sensitive skin and can't use all sunscreens so this was actually very helpful and didn't cause any rashes of any sort. I also use their black rice eye cream and black rice oil cleanser. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin.

100% Mineral Sunscreen NO Whitecast for Sensitive Skin
LOVE IT! I have very sensitive skin & very pale skin and am constantly on the hunt for a pure mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a whitecast & this one in the purple tube by Haruharu Wonder is the absolute best I’ve found in a VERY long time. Haraharu (also Korean skincare brand) makes two sunscreens to be clear - this one in the purple tube w/yellow cap w/SPF of 50 that is 100% mineral based & another that is yellow tube with purple cap. I know the second, which I believe has some type of chemical sunscreen works for many people, but it irritated my skin badly and for that reason alone it did not work for me. However, the Haruharu wonder Black Rice Pure Mineral Relief Daily Sunscreen SPF50+ (for Sensitive skin) works so beautifully. There is no whitecast. It doesn’t settle into fine lines. It doesn’t cause my makeup to pill up. I have fairly dry skin so I do wear a moisturizer under it, and I feel like if you give it a minute or two to dry down before you apply your foundation, you really do not need a primer between your SPF & foundation…though you could do it if you really wanted to. This is really nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Again, it’s the one in the purple tube & it is 100% mineral-based for sensitive skin. I already ordered another tube…I do not want to run out :)
