A struggle. but look good
These are a good kit. one of the better ones ive used. however. it is not the same as OEM design. they do not incorporate the hooks needed to secure it to the back side channel. you will need to use a super weatherstrip glue. or contact cement. I will also say. if you are not mechanically inclined. you will struggle a great deal replacing these. Not only must you take the trim panel off. you have to remove components just to get the unit out of the door. Ive been in the auto body field for 25 years. and even i struggled with them for a while. its not a half hour job. once the unit is out. the entire qtr glass and mounting must be taken apart. you are gonna have to pay close attention to the rubber how it sits in the channel. and use soap. then dry so you can find a way to get contact cement down in the rear channel or it will not seal. you will have to rivet the arm back on and hope to not snap the bottom nut off the bolt guide. its not the products fault it takes so long. but be prepared. its not gonna be easy. overall they look good and seal. PS there is a left and right. you can be all but finished with one and realize this when you go to put the glass in.
