This giraffe was so cute. Knit material was colorful. No part seemed like it would tear away in the hands of a 4 month old strong little guy!

When my daughter was born in 1969, an old woman at my church gave us a floppy little crocheted and stuffed animal. It was made with green and white yarn, and it soon became my baby's and then my toddler's favorite toy. She carried it everywhere and slept with it at night. It became the only toy I saved and stored from those early days. Now I have newborn great-grandbabies and I saw this strange cuddly toy on Amazon. I was so happy to get it and see that it is very like that one from 53 years ago, even though it's a giraffe and the colors are very different. I'm going to order its companion, a bunny, from Amazon too, and then both of my newest family members (fraternal twins!) will have a "friend" unlike all the other sweet stuffed animals already populating their bedroom. I hope they love theirs like my daughter loved hers.

This whimsical little giraffe is simply adorable. The description says it’s hand crocheted, but it looks to me to more likely be machine knit because the stitches are very small and completely uniform, whereas hand crochet stitches generally are not. Actually, it doesn’t matter to me if it was made by hand or made by a machine, it’s still a colorful, adorable, cuddly little giraffe that would be a great gift for a child or, for that matter, a teen or adult who loves giraffes. It’s the perfect size to display on a bookshelf and because it’s made of very soft yarn, would be a nice toy for an infant.

Very cute, with nice bright colors and soft fabric made from Organic Cotton, with polyester filling. Washable as well. Nice toy for baby or toddler; soft and floppy!
