No frills cartridges that are well made, and stay sharp.I personally prefer the line that you get with the number 10 needles (those that are used in this cartridge) over the more popular number 12, since they deliver a very fine, precise line, which tends not to bleed as much outwardly.These are thinner needles (0.30mm), with a longer taper (6mm) than the number 12 needles. In these cartridges there are three in a circle, a "bugpin".The cartridge is thick walled, made of medical grade plastic, and has a silicone (black) top cap. There is an internal silicone diaphragm that stops ink from traveling up the cartridge, and also provides rebound for the needle bar.Very good cartridges, and they come sterilized in blister packs. The date of expiration, lot number, and size/style is on the back of each blister pack.Recommended.

These cartridge needles arrive in clearly labeled and standard style sanitized blister packs. The clear plastic on the cartridges' themselves I find help reduce distortion and shadows. Being able to see your stencil clearly is very important!I love the 1209 (size 12 needles with a quantity of 9) for my all around lining needle. I will use a 1203 for detail and 1215 for big bold lines, but the 1209 is a lovely middle ground.

I am a beginner and am trying out the different tip styles. I had tried a three needle cartirdge tip but found it was fairly difficult to get clean lines. It was better suited for filling in and shading. I decided to go with these single needle tips for more control. These are slant tipped and have an expiration date of 10/2027. These definitely provide someone like me better control. Since they are single needle round tip, I feel more comfortable using them. I am still experimenting on practice skins, (not ready for prime time).These cartridge tips are great for me as I really need a lot of practice. I recommend them.

WOW as a newbie I didn't realize how much of a difference a 1003 would be to a 1203! But again I'm a newbie. With this size needle you should be able to make even the smallest details. And the packaging is the best part. I've become a snob and only want needles packaged so that each cartridge is printed with the size and expiration date. These needles are packaged like this which is AMAZING! I know it don't count for much coming from a newbie but I highly recommend these needles! 🪡🪡🪡🪡🪡
