A Gentle, Natural Syrup to Soothe Your Dog’s Cough
My Miniature Poodle has cough sound like horn, possible effect of tracheal collapse, PawHealer Tracheal Soother has calmed his cough like nothing else, only one bottle was enough to relief the scary sound. The syrup format and honey base make it palatable and relatively easy to administer (with food or directly). In my case I give it to him directly and he loved. If you have a small or aging dog showing mild/moderate signs of airway irritation (coughing, gagging) and you’re looking for a natural, supplementary option to help soothe the throat/trachea, this syrup is a reasonable choice. It seems to offer real relief in many cases. Lightweight, non-sedative herbal approach (supplement rather than prescription medication) natural, in my opinion is always the best option. However, for serious or worsening respiratory issues (strong tracheal collapse, heart disease, constant wheezing) you should consult your vet first, and consider this syrup as complementary, not the sole solution. Also ensure your dog can tolerate the ingredients and that administration is practical given your pet’s flavor preferences and health profile.

Stella loves her honey
I have a baby Stella that I adopted at 9weeks old from a abusive situation where she was carried around by her neck, by little kids because the parents didn't teach them how to care for a pet. Stella now lives with a collapsed trachea and I purchase this stuff all the time it does help and of course she loves the taste, so im not saying its a cure, im just saying it does help when her throat is raw from the coughing after drinking water especially in the summer when its at it worse. This product does help my baby.

Definitely saw symptom relief
I was rather skeptical but my old Chihuahua/fox terrier pal is suffering trachea collapse and has had some bad coughing spells so I bit the bullet and ordered this product. Not expecting much, and it was expensive, but I hate to see her in discomfort and suffering. Gave her a dose with her food and within a short time I noticed improvement in the severity and duration of her coughing spells. This product didn't stop her coughing, but it did seem to help quite a bit. You don't get a very big bottle, but the dose is small and it seems to last a good while. I have usually only had to give her a dose a day with her food and she actually likes it. So I give it a thumbs up. Not a cure, but a solid improvement in her symptoms for now.

It’s a MIRACLE in a Bottle!
There are not enough words in the English dictionary to describe how incredibly grateful I am for this product. Our senior pup, who is 15, has a collapsed trachea. Recently it got so much worse, constant hard, honking coughing all day and all night. I thought my husband and I were going to have to make a decision for him that we didn’t want to make. I started digging into natural ways to help him and came across this product. From the very first dose, we saw huge improvement! He literally coughed once, maybe twice. We give him 4 doses a day and he may cough 3-4 times in a 24 hour period. It’s a Godsend and if you’re looking for something natural to help your pup, look no further! This is it! We will never go without. It’s nothing short of a miracle.

Waste Of Money…….
9 lb, 14 y/o Yorkie with terrible hacking persistent coughing due to tracheal collapse. I tried this in hopes it would be of some help. It has been an utter and complete waste of money and time. Her cough might not be worse, but it surely is not any better. I’m not a fan of “herbal” medicine and this is a great example as to why. If you want to try something like this, at least get a cheaper one so you won’t waste so much money.

Pretty good!
Bought this for my Grandmas dog that was having issues with his esophagus. Before she was able to get him into a vet, we tried this. It was great for the first couple days. Seemed to cost her dogs throat. He would cough a lot and sounded miserable. This did seem to calm him down and soothe him for a few days. Only a bandaid didn’t fix the problem. He did have to go to vet and be placed on medications.

The trachea honey and herb formula for dogs is terrific. My dog loves it.
The trachea honey and herb formula was something I thought I should try. The vet said my 14-year-old Jack Russell sounded like she had collapsed trachea - a disorder common in smaller dogs. Her coughing progressed to a loud honking sound, but only when she'd get excited. But then it grew to almost constant. The vet gave her Hydrocodone (formulated for pets), 2 pills X 2x per day. I only gave her 1 pill when she'd start coughing again. Then the Hydrocodone wasn't helping as much anymore. I added the Trachea Honey to her regimen: 1 pill with a squirt of honey to help the pill down. I noticed my dog was surprised by how much she liked the taste of the honey. The honey soothed her throat, which made the coughing settle down. I went to a vet specialist to seeing about having a stent inserted in her esophagus to keep the esophagus from collapsing. The specialist suspected my dog didn't have collapsed trachea. The specialist thought my dog might have something called bronchial collapse. "Here's a prescription for a bronchodilator. See me in two weeks." When I got my dog home, I gave her one of the bronchodilator meds (1 per 12 hours). In ten minutes, she was no longer coughing or honking. She wasn't panting with her mouth hanging out, as if she couldn't breathe. The specialist told me to cut back on her hydrocodone. Since doing so, I have my dog back. She's not always sleeping because of the effects of the hydrocodone. Only in a great while will I hear her cough now. I give her her meds with the honey, which she gets twice her pay, just 1-1/2 tsp twice a day. It gets her to swallow her pills, and she loves the taste of it. And like how we need a lozenge for a scratchy throat, I imagine she needs one just to make her feel good.
