Surprised
I was very disappointed when my 2300w hoover decided not to work and set about looking for a new which is time consuming and not one has all great reviews and the prices vary enormously. As I have previously had the brand I decided to stick with it, I read the negative reviews but thought for the price it is worth a go, yes they are right initially the hose pipe kept falling out of the plastic handle but I have managed to rectify this by ensuring it is pushed in hard, it does feel flimsy plastic unlike my old sturdy one. However it does the job very easy to move round the suction was better than my old one I have to use the vent on the handle because once it gets on a mat it does not let go easily! Overall for the price and quality I feel it was an extremely good buy and pleased I purchased it.

Good enough
The suction on the hoover is powerful (be aware if you're after something lightweight), as this requires muscle power to get the hoover to move, especially over carpets. The setting can be changed, but I find the carpet setting wasn't enough to pick everything up, but the hard floor setting was over the top. I clean it out after every use and have found that it's losing a little of the suction. Could be a good thing with how much it was when first it use, but it remains to be seen whether it will last in the long run. Another thing is, the noise level. My husband thought something was taking off when I first put it on! This isn't the quietest of vacuums. Other than these points, it's a vacuum that's just used for around the house and has got the job done many times. If you're looking for a good vacuum that doesn't break the bank, then this is a good enough choice.

This is why they're called "hoovers".
This is a "hoover" as in: general term for vacuum cleaner, but made by the actual firm. I bought it to replace a very similar machine made by a rival company, up with which I had got completely fed. This actual Hoover gets everything right. It sucks hard, very hard. The hose slips in and out of its slot very easily. The filter does its job. The dust receptacle fastens and unfastens quickly. It is a properly engineered piece of equipment that doesn't quite make carpet sweeping a joy, but it's not the nightmare it used to be with the old bit of junk. It lives up to the name. The moral is - don't buy a hoover unless it's a Hoover.

Ideal for hoovering the interior of a car
This is the second one I have bought via Amazon, I gave the first one to my daughter. This Hoover model is ideal for vacuum cleaning the interior of SUVs or cars of a similar size. It has a powerful suction and an attachment with a brush facility that is perfect for cleaning the dash and other areas liable to collect dust or food detritus. I gave the first one I bought to my daughter because it had proved its worth, and even after 2 years is working perfectly. If one maintains the cleaner IAW the manufacturer's instructions, it will last for many years.

Suction became nonexistent
This was fine at first - maneuverability was good and it's pretty lightweight. The suction was never amazing, but fine - at first. 9 months in with occasional use and regular maintenance, the suction was nonexistent. It comes with a 2 year warranty, so I contacted Hoover, and they said vacuums are not eligible for service appointments and to get in touch with Amazon to exchange it, as that's their contract with them. I contacted Amazon and there was no option to service or exchange - only a refund. Problem was, the price went up £20, so to replace it, I'd have to pay another £20, which isn't exactly meeting the warranty conditions. It took 3 Amazon reps to credit me the full price to replace it, but ultimately, I think there are better vacuums out there for around the same price or a touch more. I ended up getting a Eureka Apollo and it is like night and day - the suction is incredible and overall it performs way better for the same convenience.

Surprisingly good!
I’m positively disappointed with this little hoover, I didn’t expect it to be this good! Suction is strong enough to pick up everything from the carpet, the cylinder is easy to empty and clean. The only downside is the length of the power cord, wouldn’t mind if it was a bit longer, however it does not affect the performance of the machine. Simply put: it’s cheap, but definitely good value!

Well suited for wooden flooring
Having previously bought vacuums from other brands, such as Dyson, for almost six times the price, I’d now struggle to justify the additional cost. Don’t get me wrong, the Hoover Breeze does have its drawbacks: the dust collection compartment is a little clunky, and the suction isn’t industrial level. However, if your home doesn’t require a great deal of cleanup, it’ll be just fine. I use mine on wooden flooring and it’s picks up all the dirt fairly effortlessly. The power cord is surprisingly long (it easily stretches across the room) and the attachments are useful for cleaning around the harder to reach spaces. If you’re looking for a low cost vacuum to cater for a low maintenance home, the Hoover Breeze is certainly a good solution.

my second wee warrior
my first one lasted 5 years and gradually lost the suction power. The replacement is as good as the original one, the same impressive performance in the beginning. This is a compact and powerful hoover, easy to use and store. Was playing with the idea to buy something modern but glad i chose this one. Just perfect.
