Battery life is fine. Excellent all metal laser.
This laser has a titanium housing versus plastic housings on all the competitors. Feels very solid and durable. Laser is bright! There is nothing wrong with the battery life. I'm guessing the other reviewers left accidently put the gun away with the laser turned on.

I really wanted to be impressed
I have been a solid fan of Holosun products for several years. But with the issues I experienced, I have difficulty believing this is a trully Holosun designed and built item.Pros:1 It's small2 it's light weight3 The green dot is highly visible.CONS! The battery it ships with was dead.2 the battery is pressed into the battery well so thghtly it will not fall out.3 to overcome the battery well tightness you are supplied with two tiny rubber pull buckets.4 The rubber pull buckets do not work!5 Once (IF) you get the the battery head slightly above the rim of the battery well you need to use a pair of pliers to grab what you can of the batter and muscle it out.6 To replace the battery you need to insert the rubber bucket first then press the battery into the well.7 Anyone who has been a Holosun fan knows their crazy obsession with gimmick screwdrivers, but the one that comes with the RML is a doozie. Unless you use one hand to press the slotted circle hard onto the slotted battery well cap it will constantly slip off..8 Once you get the cap threads to engage you must fight the waterproofing o-ring, which is way too hard for it's diameter. Luckily I did not strip the threads!9 Now that you have spent a few hours sweating the battery into the too amall well, played with unoque screwdriver (that you must keep to remove the cap.) and placed the rubber bucket correctly now you are treated to the unit draining the battery overnight! This thing is a train wreck! How could Holosun put something like this on the market?

Crystal clear!!!
I purchased the Holosun based on prior purchases!,, Very well constructed and certainly a small footprint. The green laser is crisp with a long range!,, This is another well designed product from Holosunl However, the laser isn't for someone without mechanical dexterity. I would buy again!,,,,

Extremely solid construction
Attached to my weapon without a problem. Had to figure out the little adapters for myself as there wasn't any details for the correct one to use. Just use good common sense and look at your weapon carefully. Quick delivery by the vendor (don't go with "Optics Planet " if you want this item before you die) and well packaged.

Battery life is horrible!
Put a new battery in two weeks ago. Placed in my safe. Pulled it out today and battery is dead. Ridiculous!!!

Battery compartment cover is a bad design
Good luck changing the battery. The cap is so thin and small with such shallow threads. It's impossible to get back on. I've been trying for 30 minutes now and still can't get it back on. That's using the tiny tool that was included. The laser is ok but this battery thing absolutely sucks. Too bad I'm out of the return period.
