Comfortable & a Must Have After Surgery
Was a lifesaver after my rhinoplasty surgery! I am a devoted belly and side sleeper, so it seemed almost impossible to sleep elevated and on my back for 1 month+ after surgery. This pillow made life so much easier! It not only kept my nose safe by stabilizing my head, the way it envelopes your face gives you the comforting “feeling” of sleeping on your side helped me sleep well. Highly recommend!

Bought to keep an elderly persons head on the pillow
I bought this for my Dad who sleeps propped up at a 45 degree angle. The problem is that he leans to the right and winds up slumped over in bed. This solved the problem. I tied them onto the pillow and then put the pillow case over it on just the right side of the pillow. It is just enough to keep him from tilting over in his sleep. The only drawback is that the ties do not keep the positioner from shifting. I bought two big quilting safety pins and pined the straps through the back of the pillow case which solved my problem. It does make it harder to strip the pillow case for laundry.

Great product!
I am normally a side sleeper so I used this post cornea transplant surgery because I had to lay flat on my back for 2 days then I continued using throughout the healing process to protect my eye. I used this product along with a contour memory foam pillow to support my neck. This product worked great for my needs. I used it again for my 2nd eye surgery 8 months later. I plan to keep this on hand in case another medical need arises in case I am required to sleep on my back again.

Not sturdy enough but does the job
I bought these to help with my neck issues, if I turn my head too far when I sleep I wake up in a world of pain. Originally I had built two pillow "towers" to help keep my head from moving but they were not fool proof. I had hope these would replace the towers.Unfortunately, these are not sturdy enough by themselves. Even tied down, they move and give too much to prevent motion of the neck and/or head. I was able to incorporate them into the pillow tower format though and I do feel like they add stability to my current set up. With pillows behind them to have brace them, they are able to prevent motion.

Does not help to eliminate side sleeping wrinkles
Despite as advertised, this pillow does not prevent premature face and neck wrinkles due to side sleeping. I was a bit hesitant after experiencing other failed products, yet this purchase was another disappointment. The pillows are not firm enough to hold your head in place throughout the night and prevent side sleeping. Plus the colors are not sophisticated for blending with bedding and therefore you are having to stow it away each morning when making your bed. Don't waste your investment.

Comfy!
Got these to help me train myself for sleeping on my back to reduce wrinkles but came in super handy when I had eye surgery! Very comfy!

Great for neck pain, stabilization
I've been dealing with neck pain for 5 yrs now and having to sleep strictly on my back. I can't let my head roll to either side. I use to tuck blankets under the sides of my pillow to curl the pillow around the sides of my head but they would shift out through the night. This is exactly what I have been looking for! I periodically switch between pillows depending on my pain and it's great that I can use these with any one of my weird shaped pillows...i can even use it with my skinny neck roll pillow. The company is really missing out by not marketing this for neck pain or by offering a more neutral color. I'm sure there are men who have passed on this item due to the color alone. It is exactly as pictured and well built. The cover has a zipper closure and can be removed for washing. The cotton filling is contained in a pillow sack to help it hold its shape. The straps are thick and strong and don't seem vulnerable to ripping off. I feel it will last for a very long time and I am so relieved to have found this product.

YMMV but I love these!
I was on the verge of buying one of those ridiculously overpriced "beauty" pillows when I saw these terribly cheap-looking (but not actually cheap) tie-on bumper pillows. I'm so glad i took a chance on them!!! I don't even care how dumb they look!!! I am VERY particular about my pillow (I HATE thick pillows!), so I don't think i would've been very happy with the overpriced one anyways.I really love how these are so adjustable and versatile! You can tie them to whatever pillow you want, at whatever width apart you want. I trained myself to sleep on my back a long time ago (way back in my early teens) but every once in awhile i find myself tossing and turning, or worse waking up on my face with a sore neck. Anyways, I tied these to a memory foam pillow that I bought a long time ago and never used until now (i always found it a little too thick and thus uncomfortable). I find it REALLY comfortable to sleep with my head between them. The only downside to these bumper pillows is that they look incredibly goofy and I don't find them very washable (it's REALLY hard to get those velvet covers back over the little pillows once you take them off). Nothing can be done about how weird they look, but I solved the whole washing issue by putting an (extra large) pillowcase over them and my pillow. This does make it harder to adjust them, but i just deal. This also takes care of the heat issue that you can get with velvet fabric. If these ever fall apart, I will probably repurchase. That's how much i like them. Also, I only realized after I bought these why i was having so much trouble sleeping. I needed to flip and rotate my mattress! I highly rec at least rotating your mattress if you're having trouble sleeping on your back.
