Permanent 5N Light Natural Brown Hair Color Dye - Naturally-derived, Vegan & 100% Gray Coverage that Lasts up to 8 Weeks

This hair dye has beautiful color and it covered most grays, not 100%, but better coverage than drugstore brands. It didn't smell too "chemically" and didn't feel as damaging to my hair as some dyes. My hair felt better and soft after rinsing and before I even put in any conditioner.It's nice they offer customizable items to dye your hair, but it's not a complete kit which many people will need (they do offer full kit and other items on Amazon). You still need a developer, applicator, and gloves. I also prefer to use the deep conditioner that usually comes with kits. If buying your own developer, a 20 Volume developer (lift 1-2 colors) will be safe to use for most.This is a good option for advanced hair dye users who are comfortable mixing their own hair dye and have applicators. Otherwise, I'd start with a full kit. The color is beautiful and nice quality hair dye.

When I 1st opened my order I was disappointed to see there was no developer with the tube of color. I called the customer service number listed on the box. I explained I didn’t realize developer didn’t come with the color tube. They sent me a developer free of charge! Not to mention, once I colored my hair this product covered my grays 100%. I was nervous to use this on my real hair as it did arrive opened, but I did try it on a wig. The color is a bit sheer so I'm not sure how well it would cover grey hairs. It did dye the wig pretty well, it wasn't patchy, just more sheer than expected. I'm deducting points for quality control definitely, but the product isn't bad if you want a wash of color.

TLDR: Good color coverage, but double check the which passage you’ve selected as one does not come with a developer.Got this to cover so stress grays I’ve started to get and I’m overall happy with it. I didn’t realize that it didn’t come with developer, but when I re-read the listings I realized that they say that and even have a picture letting you know, so that was user error on my side not paying enough attention 🤦‍♀️. I don’t live too far from a Sally’s beauty store, so I stopped by after work and grabbed some there. The process was easy enough if you’ve done this before (if you have def watch a YouTube or two) and the color hasn’t washed out yet in the month I’ve had it in. It’s slowly fading, but it still looks very nice!

I guess it’s my fault but I didn’t realise this basically doesn’t come with anything, you need to buy a bunch of other stuff to do your hair, I’m not a professional lol

Love this color. It colored my greys well but would have loved the product even more if it would have lasted longer. The color seemed to fade on the greys pretty quickly. Overall product smells better than similar products and initial color is beautiful.
