They have no additives and are easy to swallow. No smell and don'ts cause nausea. I've seen the review about vitamin A in these. They are safe as there is vitamin A beta carotene not retinol.

Don't worry about the vitamin A - a lot of these reviews are full of misunderstandings. Beta-carotene is the unprocessed source of vitamin A found in many plants, and is perfectly safe for pregnant women. You aren't going to get vitamin A toxicity from this. Retinol is the processed form that is found in liver. This is what is in most multivitamins and face creams that people avoid during pregnancy, and your body can't control how much of it is released. Those with beta-carotene are fine as the body will only convert what is needed to retinol.The quantity of folate is also not low. 250 micrograms per tablet twice a day is well over the daily 400 dose recommended by the NHS. You are only recommended to take 4,000 if you're at higher risk of neural tube defects. I'm not sure whether there are any side effects to that dose where you don't need it. You should probably only do it if your doctor advises you to.The price is reasonable, and I prefer the twice-daily tablets, as they spread the dosages which might reduce what water soluble ingredients are lost to urine.My girlfriend has struggled with other single-dose tablets making her feel nauseous, especially if she has an empty stomach or hasn't been able to eat very much. These ones are a little smaller, and so far haven't made her feel ill at all.

…But, I was unable to take them because of their terrible smell and large size. Bare in mind I am pregnant, I have major food aversions and am not able to stomach much. But I can take my medication no problem. But my body rejected these straight away.

So, I'll start with the problem I had before taking these:During the growth scan, they have noticed that my baby's growth had dropped and the placenta "works" a little worse. I've started to take these vitamins, also tried to eat better and drink more water. After 2 weeks, they couldn't find anything bad. I'm not 100% sure if these actually helped, but I believe that these vitamins played a good role in my results getting better. I had no side effects either while taking them, so I'm happy to recommend.

I bought these thinking they’d be a solid, all-in-one prenatal, but I’m genuinely disappointed. The most obvious problem is the inclusion of both iron and calcium in the same tablet. From a basic nutritional science standpoint, this makes no sense. These minerals compete for absorption - so taking them together reduces how much your body can actually use. Worse, combining them like this significantly increases the risk of constipation, something pregnant women already struggle with.The branding strongly implies this supplement “has everything you need,” but that’s just not true. It’s missing choline, which is essential for fetal brain development, and there’s no omega-3 (DHA), which many modern prenatals now include or at least flag as necessary. The vitamin D is minimal at 600 IU – not nearly enough for most women in the UK, especially if you’re inside a lot or have darker skin.Yes, it includes methylfolate instead of folic acid (great), but the dose is on the lower end of the recommendation. And while 500 µg of B12 might sound impressive, it’s overkill for most and doesn’t balance out the other weaknesses.Overall, it feels like this was formulated to look impressive on the label, but not with real nutritional strategy in mind. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone serious about supporting a healthy pregnancy.
