Hamble Redwood Leisure Stainless Steel Pedestal Barbeque

This BBQ is quite a shoddy product, and is overpriced for what it is. It's incredibly flimsy and rusts easily. You can't leave it outside either, covered or not. Just a bit of a strong breeze is enough to knock it over. This certainly isn't built to last and you'll only probably get a single summer out of it.

Bit wobbly.

This item looks great in the garden but it is a little wobbly and the grill area is smaller than expected.

The name should be changed to stainless steel FOIL pedestal barbecue. I would never have considered this product had I known that it was made of such lightweight metal. It can be blown over by a good wind it's so light. It's very unstable, the grill is so flimsy that it slopes toward the unsupported side and my sausages kept rolling off! The grill for the coals was bent by the heat and weight of the coals after just one use. Everything is held together by normal steel nuts and bolts which will rust real quick with the heat involved. This defeats the purpose of having a stainless steel barbecue. Overall this item is poorly designed and I consider it to be a pretend barbecue, certainly not the real thing I would expect to use for regular barbecues. I'm also not swayed by the price because I had a cast iron pot belly barbecue (£15) which lasted for about 6 years and it was a much better deal.

Did the job, made of nice but light material , but still good value

Ordered this BBQ in time for the recent heat wave we've been having. Used it everyday since. No problems, great piece of kit, does the job perfectly. A happy customer!
