Vivitar Auto Focus Teleconverter Lens for Nikon - Black (2X4N)

The item arrived within time stated and was as described. Have tried item with various lenses and it works perfectly, including auto focus. I would recommend that manual focus be used on longer focus lenses but this is not because of any fault with converter. I would recommend this seller.

On the whole I am pleased with the results that I am getting using this lens adaptor. The fit on the camera is very good. I have found it best to use manual focus as automatic on my Nikon does not work very well. However, picture quality is more than adequate for my amateur purposes. You would have to spend considerably more on a dedicated long focal length lens to obtain similar results.

I'm very happy with this teleconverter, it works great and saved me from expense of buying a costly additional lens. I use it with my Canon 70-300 lens. The auto focus works but seems to get confused now and then. I just use manual focus and it's great.

I love this lens. It's not perfect, but for <$100 I did not expect it to be. At first I had difficulty getting any usable photos as the auto focus would not settle. I tried to hold and sometime would not get a shot in over 10 seconds. I switched to aperture priority and single point focus (center) and most of the issues went away - at least in daylight. I use this for casual sports photos of the kids and it works great for this. The reach is great and I am able to get photos that I have never been able to get before. it's also very useful for getting "in the moment" shots because your are further away and not directly interacting with your subjects. Images are sharp if you can get the focus. We also swap out zoom lens for closer lens quite frequenter and the lens has been durable enough to handle the switches.
