TideHE PurClean Laundry Detergent 100 oz.

We are already a family that trusts Tide to get our clothes clean in the most efficient way so I am always happy to try out their new products. This one steps it up for Tide in my opinion. They have gone to lengths to find a way to reduce their footprint and also help us reduce ours. I love that they used no dyes, it isn't necessary and many (including my own little brother) are allergic, yet so many companies will use them to attract buyers. They use renewable energy and a zero waste facility to produce AND are making sure their packaging can be recycled easily. Plus the detergent itself is awesome, it cleans just as you would expect a Tide product to clean, the Honey Lavender smells nice, but isn't at all overpowering and the liquid is clear, which is (strangely) refreshing.In our home we recycle twice the amount that we throw away, we use solar energy, grow our own veggies and some fruit, compost and even use grey water... but even with everything we do, sometimes, it feels like you are barely a dent in the problem. But when big corps step it up like this, it gives me so much more hope!

I love this detergent! I usually use regular Tide, but decided to switch to this kind, as it's chemical free and much healthier for my family. My husband is fine with any detergent, but my daughter and I are very sensitive and get rashes from some detergents. We've had no problems with this detergent. It also smells so good! They call the scent lavender and honey, and it is marvelous! My husband is a licensed plumber and hvac tech and you can't imagine how dirty his clothes get. The worst thing he gets on them is duck seal. It is very hard to get it out and this detergent did the job better than most! His clothes have been spotless and smell sooooo clean! I use cold water to wash all my laundry and this does great in the cold water. I couldn't be happier with this detergent and I will certainly be ordering it again. Thanks Amazon!

I love this laundry detergent. My skin is pretty sensitive to products and I am very sensitive and particular about smells. I absolutely love the freshness of this detergent. It gives my clothes a fresh, clean smell without being overpowering or overly fragrant. This size is perfect and one that I could not find in any of my local stores. This larger size lasts me for months as I use a lot less of the detergent than is recommended and find it does just as good of a job. Also, using the recommended amount was causing my washing machine to over-sud when washing towels. Cutting down on the amount I put in the machine really helped - I only use 1-2 tbsp per load which makes this bottle last forever!

Our family has been using natural and eco friendly laundry soaps such as rockin green, eco sprout and norwex for years now in our high efficiency machine. We never have to clean out our machines, there is never a musty or mildew smell or any sort of soap residue. I was excited to see tide come out with it's version of and "eco friendly" detergent since it's known for it's cleaning power and we have several children's dirty clothes to keep clean. I am SO disappointed with this product. It might smell okay (but artificial) when you use it the first few times but after 1 week of using it, all of our clothes and machine smell TERRIBLE! Like rot or mold--I guarantee that there are bulking agents used in this that are remaining in our machine and clothes causing that nose scrunching odor. It's disgusting. It does not clean the clothes any better and it is very expensive. Switched back to our eco sprout and all odors are gone.

I wanted to love this! I am a loyal tired user so when a more natural detergent came out I was so excited. I love the smell. It's mild and not too overpowering. The problem I found was that it leaves suds in the wash after the cycle. I have a front loader and have tried it on cold, warm, and hot but the same thing happens. We also have different brand of front loader that I have used and the same thing happens with it. I will be switching back to the Tide Pod, spring meadows or regular tide but I do hope they are able to correct this because I would love to be able to buy again.

I was very excited to have the opportunity to test the New Tide purclean™ detergent. The fact that this product is free of dyes, chlorine, phosphates and optical brighteners is a huge plus for this brand.I am so happy to see more brands going this direction.This is the first bio-based detergent that cleans well in energy-saving cold water. How great is this, no more having to use warm or hot water to do the laundry! This is a money saver alone!I have a family that has sensitivity issues when it comes to detergents so I have to be very careful with what I use. Most detergents cause someone in my household to break out in a rash and have a reaction to the ingredients that are typically found in these products.I am super excited to say that Tide purclean™ detergent stood up to my family's test of the sensitivity issue. This is gentle enough and made with ingredients that were safe for my family's sensitive skin. I also found that this was nice and mildly scented. This is another issue that I have to look for when I shop for Laundry detergent. If a detergent is too heavily scented, I will have issues with migraines.I did find that it did not knock out tough stains (even though I did pretreat them prior to washing). Overall I did find that this was an effective detergent and much better for my family's needs than the traditional Tide. I like that this is a natural detergent that is made with renewable wind power electricity and is made at a site that sends zero manufacturing waste to a landfill. We sure all need to do our part to help the environment and when big companies step up, this is huge.I would definitely say that I'm a Tide customer again.*I received this sample for free for my honest review.
