Meilen Bug Zapper Outdoor,Mosquito Zappers Indoor, Electric 4000V Fly Zapper Waterproof Bug Zapper Indoor, Portable Fly Trap& Insect Killer for Patio, Home, Kitchen, Backyard（Square Roof）

I bought the Meilen 20W Bug Zapper to help reduce mosquitoes and flying insects around my house, and it's been working really well. It's easy to set up, provides good coverage, and starts attracting bugs as soon as it gets dark. The 4000V zap is powerful, and fries bugs. I use one in my house at the backdoor as well as outside the backdoor. Cleaning is simple, and the overall build quality feels solid. It's an effective bug zapper at a great price and I'd definitely recommend it.

These things are great. Have had it running for over a year straight without turning it off and just now the bulbs failed. Purchased new bulbs and they are back to running great. Original bulbs are a little delicate but otherwise this is a good purchase. Definitely water resistant unless submerged. Had water dripping on it while it was on and no issues. Both worked for the same amount of time.

This product is reasonably priced and works much, but not all the time. My bride still needs to use spray to deal with mosquitoes at times and so I have mixed feelings as far as the real effectiveness of this product. John J. Hogan

I had a big problem with not only mosquitos but carpenter bees. While it doesn't necessarily attract them, they did fly into it occasionally, especially since I removed the protective shell since these fat bees couldn't fit into the slots of the cover. The only interesting side effect seems to be between our bird feeder and this bug murderer, we seem to now be a Golden Corral of choice for the neighborhood birds, and the all you can eat fried bugs underneath this zapper has these fat birds crapping all over. They probably have high cholesterol like me now. After two years in rain, snow and having to clean it off with a snow brush every other week when it looks like Robin William's arm, it has finally gone dark. So I'm getting another. So I think it lasts pretty well, and is very very effective at killing bugs. The cord is just the right size for the plug inside the shed window, and it was easy to hang up and get going!

I have to say that this bug light is an amazing purchase. I used it the first night I received the product. I plugged it in on my back deck because I've been wanting to sit and enjoy peace and quiet time without the nuisance of moths, beetles, mosquitoes, and other flying insects. This baby stared working instantly. I sat out there for a couple hours only and it literally killed hundreds of bugs. It's easy to use....just plug it in and it works like a champ. It is light weight and easy to handle. The only downside to it is that some bugs will stick to the light after being fried so they all won't fall to the bottom but that's not a big deal. This is probably the best purchase I have invested in this summer! Get one and you will not be disappointed.

I bought two of the Meilen Bug Zappers at the same time, which arrived at the end of August 2023. They worked great, would turn them off at bedtime (Used outdoors). Cleaned them and boxed them up the end of October. Brought them out June 2024 and both have been working fine until today. One of them has a pink hue to the light, the other is fine. Amazon customer service stated it is past the return or replacement period and all they could do was give me a $4 credit toward the purchase of a new one. Considering the same unit is now $7 more to buy, that doesn’t work for me. I tried to find a website for Meilen for the bug zapper, could not find one. All it shows on the box is made in China. Disappointed in the short life on the bulb. Replacement bulbs on Amazon were almost as much as the cost for the new unit price I paid. Reviews were not great.

Although I had a problem with my second order of this product, I have decided to be honest and fair. This product is definitely well made and designed. I definitely does it's job by killing thousands of insects in just a matter of days. After using this item for almost 9 months, it finally stop working, but after a little investigation, I found that it's blue light bulb is replaceable. Upon learning this, I ordered a few compatible light bulbs from a different company, which was a bit cheaper. I had also learned how easy it was to give this item a thorough cleaning, which almost made it look like new. I would suggest that when buying this item, buy a few extra light bulbs, along with it.

I've had this device for about a week and am totally disappointed. There are only TWO dead mosquitoes stuck on the grid and NO critters of ANY KIND in the catcher/ ash tray. To optimize results, I run it in a dark room (my bead room) with door closed, for 8-12 hours a day, or longer if I'm home. NO results. My office and bedroom are infested, so I sleep on the couch with a large sheet pulled over me. A WASTE of time and money!

Somos muy contento por este producto. Funciona perfecto. Lo usamos en nuestra sala.

The Meilen Bug Zapper Works Great delivery was fast Thanks

Wanted to order more but unfortunately, it's unavailable. I brought it to the Philippines and it was super effective against small bugs. Mosquitoes? Bzaapp! Fruit Flies? Zzaapt! Scuttle Flies? Krazzt! Other small and unidentified bugs? Bzzetpp! With this out on my veranda, it creates a symphony of pops. Unfortunately when it comes to the bigger flies, they are attracted to the lamp, but the mesh is too small for them to get properly zapped. TLDR; Works really well for small bugs. Not as effective for bigger bugs though. Would buy again if it becomes available again.

Sounds like a loud slap everytime something gets killed. Like it's trying to announce its victory. Very useful, keep it turned on at home to catch strays. Every half hour or so, something gets killed. I know I have more blood in my body in comfort.

Does what it's supposed to do.
