Pros and cons like most things. That said, I gave it 5 stars because I would purchase it again. Cons are, it really should have a tactile button to press. You just press the top where it lights up, but sometimes it is hard to know if you really pressed it or not, especially when turning it off. And it malfunctioned after 5 months. But that leads me to the pros: The customer service is great. I contacted them via email directly. The response was very quick. They immediately sent me out a replacement unit. Upon receipt they requested I send back the defective unit to them, but they provided prepaid label. The new unit looks slightly different, so I wonder if improvements internally have been made. The service was friendly, helpful, etc. This makes me think highly of the company and be able to recommend them even though I had an issue with my initial unit. Other pros are the filtering ability. This filters way more than the pitcher filters from other companies. I am unable to have a faucet-mount with my new faucet. But there are loads of chemicals I want to filter. This one does them. The countertop idea is brilliant. Nothing to install, nothing to take up space under the sink. It looks nice on the counter. Filters last 3 months, I believe. Battery lasts a while also. Certainly don't have to frequently charge. Thus, I give 5 stars.

I got this for my parents about 3 months ago, and we still talk about what a great deal it was and how easy and functional it is. Super easy to start using, super easy to fill, water tastes good! We fill it at least once a day and have yet to replace the filter or recharge the battery. I think replacing the filter will be a challenge but it’s been SOOOOOOO great in the meantime that I don’t even care. I watched the product video and it works exactly like that.

I love this pitcher! I bought it less than a year ago. It’s been working great and I’ve gotten so many compliments. Every one who has used mine has since purchased ones. But now, all of a sudden, My pitcher is completely unresponsive to touch and I can’t get any water from it. It charges fine, but will not respond to my finger no matter how many times I wash my hands or clean the surface. I don’t know what happened. I’m so sad now that I can’t dispense any water, seeing how this seemed to be a really good, long lasting purchase (for the price too!). Ugh.

I bought it on Nov 04, 2023 and it worked great. One day it stopped working and water was flowing out from the usb port without any any any reason! The machine is not reliable and I don’t suggest it to anyone. I called the customer service but unfortunately the telephone line was not active or available…. New Comment on Aug 06, 2024: I called the customer service once more on July 29 and they behaved really kindly, gently and professionally and said they will send another device. On Aug 02, I received a new device and today I have just sent the previous one back to their company for further testings via UPS paid return shipping. I really appreciate their support and apologies and their behavior is very professional. I would thank them for the new device. Again, I state that Waterdrop’s quality was very good but the pump problem was a bummer and the customer service compensated it properly. With this customer service support, I recommend it to anyone.

I’ve had this for 6 months now and the digital on/off switch doesn’t recognize being pressed all the time, specifically when you are pouring water. So you’re filling a cup, then can’t turn the thing off, and all of a sudden you have a cup over flowing, counter full of water and are frantically trying to turn it off and find another cup. Consider this a warning to use by the sink. The filter is so difficult to remove in order to replace. It’s less than a gallon of water. The device is fine in that I hate it but there isn’t anything else and it’s 2025 and I feel like I should be able to expect much better by now. I’m a renter so I can’t drill into the counter and I go through so much water, having a pitcher in the fridge is even more work. I use this to one to fill a gallon bottle that stays in the fridge so I can have cold water but the gallon bottle doesn’t fit under this so I have to stand there with this device on the counter and holding the gallon bottle in the sink in weird angle to fill it up; it takes a good amount of time to fill the gallon and you have to refill this device mid-way because it holds less than a gallon. It just feels like a lot of work to get water. The one good thing is that the water does taste fine.

Great product, impressive customer support. Product worked great for the last two years but started exhibiting issues with the power/battery pack. Waterdrop support was extremely helpful and customer focused, we got a replacement part in less than a week!

I simply had to write this review after the experience that I have had with this company. Last August I bought this water drop countertop water filter system. I have loved it. It works great. The water tastes great. I had no complaints. Then one day it simply stops working. Water is actually coming out of the port where you charge it. I have zero expectations from this company. I have had it for 10 months. I am expecting that I am just going to have to replace it. I am annoyed. I call customer service. Let me say Harper could not have been sweeter. She looked up my order, diagnosed that it needed a new pump right away. Then proceeded to tell me that she would have a new one shipped right away. I received it in two days. I was thrilled, it is working great. But that's not all. Harper follows up with an email asking if everything is okay, am I happy? I reply saying yes, thank you. She replies we are grateful that you are happy, we would love to send you a free gift. Can we? I reply sure. In two days I receive two free filters for the unit. What? These filters are not cheap. In summary all I can say is wow! So often once you buy a product you are on your own. This company went above and beyond. I am grateful. Thank you Harper.

This is second unit that I bought and it broke faster than the first one. First unit I had for more than a few months, was working fine then the touch pad to dispense water and reset the filter would not work. I followed all instructions and somehow water got into the electrical components of the pump making it unusable. The way that I found out there was water was when I went to charge it, there was water coming out of the charging port. Purchased 2nd unit on prime day since it was on sale and only had it a couple weeks. Everything was going good then all of a sudden, this unit was doing the same thing as the last where the touch pad was not responsive but there was no water that I could see coming out of the charging port. I called the technical support and they were amazing, just had to send a video of the issue I was experiencing and they were able to respond and get something sent out in 24 hours. HOWEVER, the new pump unit they are sending out (and they are only sending out a pump unit) will take about 2 weeks to get here so now I’m stuck with no way to filter my water until I can get the new unit. Capacity is good and I like that it filters so much water at one time. Taste is amazing too. But please build more durable pump and make it to where it can withstand of water gets into the unit and not be so finicky if it does end up getting wet as it is something that is made to work with water!

I've had it now for a year and a half and it's great. The debit of water is pretty good, and the filters last a long time which means I can enjoy tasty water for a while before needing to purchase replacements. There was a small issue with the unit recently but after contacting support, I got all the help in the quickest, kindest way with Becky (thanks again!) and I can now enjoy my filter to the fullest once more. Overall, really good, I highly recommend!

I purchased this for my son who recently had knee surgery and couldn't get around much. You can fill up this 'pitcher' and keep it anywhere. If you like it cold, it can sit in the fridge, for my son, he drinks a lot of water, and he could keep the pitcher there beside him on the couch, and it holds quite a bit. So it's convenient, as well as filtering the tap water. Also, I think he's had it for just over a month now, and it's only been charged once. If I didn't already have a water filtration system at my house, I would be buying myself one of these. Update! This unit worked for awhile, then after my kid changed the filter, it wouldn't work. I contacted the company, which kindly send me another unit, and now the same thing is happening with this one. So the basic take-away with this product seems to be it works great while it works, then it stops working!

Aufgrund des Altbaus mit alten kupferrohren kommt es bei uns leider relativ häufig zu leicht verfärbten Leitungswasser. Da wir Studenten sind und Geld sparen möchten, wollten wir trotzdem Leitungswasser trinken. Teure osmoseanlage kam also auch nicht in Frage, weshalb ich nach einiger Recherche auf dieses Produkt gestoßen bin und muss sagen bin absolut begeistert. Einfache Handhabung, lange Akkulaugzeit, top preis Leistung und auch Reinigung! Ich bin überzeugt davon, dass das Wasser erstens weicher ist also weniger Kalk und zweitens nicht mehr verfärbt ist. Wie füllen in einem zwei Personen Haushalt in dem das gefilterte Wasser zum trinken und für die Nespresso Maschine benutzt wird mehrmals täglich den Tank auf. Ich denke man sollte spätestens nach 2 Monaten den Filter wechseln am besten früher, da das auch Bakterien ansiedeln kann gerade wenn man alte kupferleitungen hat. Klare kaufempfehlung ist jeden Cent wert!
