I didn’t expect much because I’ve eaten homemade chicken broth my entire life but this is actually pretty good! I’ve had the misfortune of eating a soup using a well known brand in a box and found it to be intolerable and flavorless, not to mention very fatty. So my expectations were low. I put a couple extra ounces of water in my cup just in case and it was still pretty tasty. I would say that the 8 ounce water recommendation is accurate. If you’re someone who will eat a bowl of instant ramen, this should work for you. I chose to purchase this for the nutritional benefits and convenience. It dissolves with ease, at least it did for me. I put the powder in my mug first and poured the hot water over it. I did stir with a spoon and it was ready for me to enjoy. You could add some rice noodles for a quick meal or snack or just enjoy it as a beverage! You could easily add a couple drops of hot sauce for a little spice too! I can’t speak to using it in a culinary setting for sauces as I don’t plan to utilize this in that way. I’ve added this to my subscriptions so I get a monthly order. You just can’t beat the convenience and the quality is good for my purposes!

Not sure why it is labeled ‘discontinued’, but we keep ordering it. This stuff is great in so many ways. Your skin, protein, gut health. It tastes great and some of the people where I work substitute it in their ramen bowls instead of the packet they come with.
