I bought this to use as a stage prop. I needed someone to eat a letter, and this worked great! I was worried that it would be fragile or fall apart, but the sheets are very sturdy! The actor tore it up and shoved it in his mouth, and it was very convincing. Everyone in the audience thought he actually ate a whole sheet of paper.

This wafer paper arrived in excellent condition without any cracks or bends at the corners. The pad is kept in good shape by excellent packaging. The premium vanilla packet is noted as Best Before 9/30/24 (package received May 2023). The paper is edible, has a sweet vanilla taste (thanks to Sucralose and vanilla flavor in the ingredients), and is made primarily from potato starch and water. The color is similar to that of standard white paper. Once the pad has been open, there's no way to easily reseal the remainder, so it's probably best to open it only when you know you'll use all 25 sheets. The key to this paper is to use it as an edible component of baked goods, such as the base for cupcakes. Squares can be cut from the page with a scissors or paper cutter. The cuts in such cases are clean. As for printing on the paper, you need a printer that can run the paper through without looping it around a roller as that might cause the paper to break (though it seems to have considerable flexibility before snapping apart), AND most importantly you need to be using edible inks (in a printer that has not used standard inks ever). Standard inks, laser printer output, drawings with a Sharpie, etc. are not edible.
