This is the second pair I've purchased. Its a great comfortable boat shoe.

These shoes look better in person than they do online. The problem is they fit so tight right out of the box. I have long, narrow feet, and they are still tight. This is especially true near your toes. I decided to remove the factory insoles and replace them with extra thin insoles, which made the shoes feel much better. The factory insoles are too thick.

They might not be the most durable. They might not withstand the wear and tear of the years. But these shoes are comfortable! They're light, breathable, and extremely comfortable. I've enjoyed wearing them around and not feeling much discomfort at all. As mentioned, they are not the most durable. They could wear out fairly quickly, but as long as you don't put them through rigorous conditions, they should be fine!

Man I love these Holo's! I was looking to replace my worn out everyday shoes with something that was equally comfortable and good looking and these Olukai's were the perfect fit (literally).Here’s what I like and don’t like about these Olukai Holo’s:****************************************************LIKES*Comfortable - these shoes are really comfortable. I like to wear very thin socks or none at all and these are comfortable enough to wear without any socks at all (though they do have an odd “tacky” sensation on the inside foot bed when I first wore them without socks, but that went away by the second day). The edges are all either lined with additional fabric or folded over so anywhere it touches your skin is comfortable. There aren’t any areas that rub or irritate. They’re even more comfortable with some thin socks but I like that I can just slip them on and go walk around in them all day.*Fits as Expected - I wear a size 11 and these fit great. They aren’t super wide but they conform to my foot so they’re comfortable.*Arch Support - this is a big one for me because I don’t feel like a lot of shoes have arch support nowadays, but these ones do seem to have a little interior support on the foot bed. It makes a big difference when you’re walking around on them all day.*Quality - these are really well made, as all of my Olukai footwear has been. All of the seams have nice stitching and areas that encounter additional stress (like where the shoe laces attach) are reinforced with thicker material. The rubber sole seems securely attached and it has some weight to it that makes it feel high quality (not heavy, it just doesn’t feel like cheap foam).*Transformers - one of my favorite things about these shoes is the transforming heel. The back side of the shoe has a leather-like patch that can be folded inward into the shoe, which basically turns it into a slide. You can pull them on like normal shoes or if you’re in a hurry you can just push your foot into the back and the little flap folds down as you slide your foot in. It’s very versatile.*Breathable - the majority of the shoe is made of a nice breathable mesh-like material. Not like see-through mesh but just enough to let air pass through keeping them nice and cool.*Quick Dry- the material seems to dry pretty quickly.*Traction - the design of the sole and the material it’s made of have a good amount of traction. I wouldn’t call them all-out boat shoes, but they seem to do well on slick surfaces.*Extra Laces - you even get an extra pair of lighter colored laces if you wanna break up the uniform color a bit.*Value- this isn’t my first pair of Olukai footwear. I have a pair of Olukai sandals that I got almost 5 years ago. I wear them all the time and they’ve held up exceptionally well. At the time I thought $100 was overpriced for sandals but they’re built like tanks and are still going strong after all this time. These Holo’s are $130 at the time of this review and they feel just as sturdy and well built as my sandals. I like them so much I’m going to be getting another pair in a different color.****************************************************DISLIKES*Snug Fit - though these are comfortable and fit well, the material they’re made of is somewhat stretchy so they seem to fit snug. That’s not a problem unless you’re wearing thicker socks. If need be you can just wear them as slides but hasn’t been a big deal for me. I’m sure they’ll loosen up a little as they get more broken in.****************************************************Overall I’m VERY happy with these shoes and would definitely recommend them.

I love Olukai products. But these shoes have a problem. Sent my first pair back because the sole is separating. Now my 2nd pair is doing the same.

These Shoes are well made. I like the thick portion on the Heel. It makes it easy to slide in and out, even with inserts in the Shoe, but also feels reassuring. i've taken these around town and not felt any discomfort in them. i thinkthey're great for most every day use.

Of course we'd heard of OLUKAI shoes, but until a few months ago, I'd never tried them on or owned any. Then I bought a pair of boat shoes and love them. Happened to have the chance to grab these OLUKAI Holo Men's Athleisure Sneakers and because of the experience I've had with the boat shoes, jumped on them. I had to know if their "gym shoes" would be as good... and yes, they are! While living in our warm weather state, OLUKAI's are a pretty perfect brand - and now I know this to be true - so from that standpoint, I'm thrilled. Yet without a doubt I'd wear these anywhere. Any state, even any time of year. No, I don't think I'd ever work out in them - but that's a personal preference. I'd prefer specialty made shoes. But for the most part, I'd wear these all the time - along with the boat shoes.They arrive in your typical shoe box - with the OLUKAI's we get a nice version thereof. It has that little extra of a nicer pair of shoes. In this case they also included the white laces while on, but a gray matching pair to replace if you so choose. Out of the box they look great. Like a typical pair of gym shoes, but also that summer cool that signifies boats and beaches and boat drinks...The materials here are cool and comfortable, look great, and I think are designed to breathe well. I wore them all afternoon yesterday - hot and humid already - and they were great on. But I can sweat in my feet and when I took them off, no smell, no wetness in the shoes, no discomfort. I likely would wear socks for more time in them, but at the 5 hours I had them on, I was always comfortable. And with a removable insert, one can put in their own, use a specialty one in there, or pull it out and air it out. This one has a decent cushion, though I do need an arch support, so while I've not yet put one in, I would consider it. But so far, that 5 hours was nice. As you can see, they look good. I loved the gray, but considered the navy - also a great color and would actually consider them to add to my wardrobe. In the end, I've come to really love the OLUKAI brand, and now with a second pair, that's cemented. Very happy to have these OLUKAI Holo Men's Athleisure Sneakers!
