Our AC stopped working the other week after we had a solar panel site survey, the guy worked on our breaker box for a while, and it could have been a coincidence but that same day I noticed the outdoor AC unit fan was no longer spinning and would not cut on. I thought that he could have possibly created a power surge that resulted in our capacitor blowing out and before we paid the $100 to have our home warranty company send an AC repairman out to diagnose and fix the issue, I took a chance on replacing the capacitor myself. We checked Lowe's, Home Depot, and a couple other local hardware stores and no one carried the capacitor type we needed. This one was basically identical, except ours was 3% and this one is 5%.Delivery was fast, and I had no trouble switching out the capacitors. I was so pleased when such a simple solution fixed our AC, and our fan is working again. Definitely try this product before you call a professional!!!

Ordered this item to have as a stand by , very good for meney, fast shipping . Will reodered if needed again. I tested it with a voltage meter it was good so I have part to change out when needed, go on utube see how to test the one that went out and test new to make sure its good. This will save you big money, DIY for sure

A/C outside unit hummmed then kicked off. "thought it might be the capasitor so checked the size ordered it. Within a week it arrived. Replaced it and now we have upstairs air conditioning fit perfectly

Easy replacement for a faulty part.

replaced AC condenser fan and capacitor when the motor burned out. Found a good deal on this part compared to OEM replacement else where. This was the last part I needed to get the unit up and going, but items arrived late 4 days later than anticipated by Amazon tracking. I left town for 2 weeks before I could work on the until again. Works great, make sure to read the circuit diagram to hook at the wires up correctly. AC is back in business in the MS heat.

I bought this one and another larger capacitor for both my AC units. The one that wouldn't blow cool air caused me to check both units and both capacitors were fully rusted. Once I replaced them it's like I have 2 new AC units. It cools the house with massive ceilings so quick. And so cold even at 70-75 degrees, it have the house freezing! Saved more energy immediately on my next electric build. I'm thinking about buying 2 more just to keep on hand.
