A-iPower 7600 dual fuel. Have only had it for a couple of weeks. Bought for emergency house back up. Replacing a 20+ yr old unit. Much quieter, smaller and lighter than the old unit. Noise is also more mellow, fewer high freqs and more consistent sound. Had a minor problem with the propane hose regulator. Didn't allow flow, gave it a firm but not nasty tap. That got it working. transfer gas to propane and back is very seamless. Everything is working fine. Did the recommended 5 hour break in with varying loads, then the oil change. Have called the company for support and questions multiple times. No problems getting through and getting answers. Wish it had a remote connection for control by a home transfer switch and a second dual 120 v dual receptacle. Quite easy to transport. Unit is heavy but it puts out a lot of power (7600w) for it's weight and size, so that is expected. I don't expect to need it's full output and don't want to as I'm concerned with heat dissipation in the suitcase style, plus with the price point, I didn't want to push it to the max. Happy with the purchase, a lot of unit for the money. Time will tell regarding reliability, my old one is 20 years old and still going (5000w). Hope this one keeps giving a high level of service. Would buy again, power, flexibility of output voltages and fuel, size, noise, inverter technology, electric start. Great unit, great price, great features.

Very quiet, runs great. Very powerful. Not as quiet as a Honda but for the price it's definitely worth the extra noise.

This generator ticks all of the boxes for my home backup power where power outages are common and our [Power Company] is offering rebates on generators and battery systems to residents, expecting more outages in the future. Despite being a lower wattage rated generator than my open frame, it has run all of my home appliances, including fridge, chest freezer, HVAC and even well pump. It is a noticeably quieter than my open frame generator to the point I can actually have a conversation while standing 5-10 feet away. It doesn't hurt your ears like my old generator to stand near it for a short while.The display provides some useful info and all the controls are fairly straight forward. It arrives with a bottle of oil, funnel, a charged starter battery, and a propane regulator hose. It takes about 15-20 minutes to unbox and ready the generator for first use.With the packaging out of the way, you will find the instructions in the manual to open the plastic side panel where you will connect the starter battery. Then on the other side panel you will unscrew the oil reservoir fill plug and pour in the oil. Screw the filler plug back on, put the plastic panels. Choose your fuel. I use propane because it is clean, easy to use, safer for me to use, stores for years, and readily available in my area.This generator is more fuel efficient than my larger open frame generator while making consistent, clean power. My lights do not clicker and everything runs smoothly so far.

This is a great generator, I have already used it for 100+ hours. The generator has multiple settings, one includes how long it's been used which is nice to keep track of maintaining it.It is quiet for a generator, under a heavy load it does get louder. But i can still barely hear it inside my house with a TV on.It's able to provide the advertised power. It can surge the advertised watts for about 5 seconds before it will turn the inverter off automatically.Gas is easy to re fuel.Oil is easy to change.Downside is it can't use 120 and 240 at the same time. This doesn't affect my situation as I only need it for 240. My house runs off a separate battery/solar system. When I dont get enough sun I use this generator to charge my battery system.

This generator is way over rated with it's wattage listed. I have a food trailer and I can't put the food warmer and hot water heat on at the same time. The display states that it is loaded with 3 kW in wattage when it trips out and has a red blinking light indicating it needs to be reset. It will run the fridge, freezer, exhaust fan and either hot water heater or food warmer. It will not run the entire trailer, I needed 7500 suirge watts and it can't give this when needed. I have to say it is nicely built, starts great and is great on fuel, but isn't performing as I need it do . I wasted 1500 dollars on this so I am buying a 13,000 watt Predator generator today for $1199 . What a waste of money. I think watts in China must be measured differently. Stay away from this brand, rating is not honest and I am using gasoline.

Our generator came with both side pieces broken where they screwed into sides. Company was very easy to work with and sent replacements with no problems. Great generator and runs good and quietly.

I initially gave the dual-fuel 7600 a one-star rating because it started easily and ran well but then flashed an overload light and wouldn't generate power. On Monday morning, I called customer support, and Melisa briefly helped me troubleshoot a few things. We didn't manage to fix the issue, so she authorized the shipping of a replacement unit, which should arrive only a week after the defective unit was received. Once the replacement is up and running, I'll upgrade my rating. A iPower will arrange for the pickup and return of the defective unit. Amazon has a stated policy of not handling the return of generators based on hazardous materials. My plan is to use the inverter generator for emergency home backup power. OK: I received two replacement generators in error. I refused delivery of one so it could be returned, as customer service instructed. When unpacking the replacement I kept, I found the fuel tank open and the oil drain open, leaking residual oil into the machine, which caused a minor mess to clean up. But, the unit started and produced electricity. Customer service was great, except for the packaging of the leaking replacement. I hope to soon have the original non-working unit to be picked up for return.
