I’m a registered nurse and a mom to a newborn, and I wanted a watch that was simple and not overstimulating. I stopped wearing my Apple Watch because I didn’t like the constant notifications and daily charging, and I’m trying to reduce unnecessary electronics. I have been using the watch for 2 weeks, and this watch has been exactly what I was looking for. Time Retention: The watch states it will last a couple of years, and it started working immediately out of the box. No batteries or setup required. So far, it has been reliable. Feel: It feels lightweight. Not heavy, but not flimsy either. It does NOT feel expensive and definitely has a sporty look. Size: I am a short, small woman with a small wrist, and this does not look oversized on me. That said, it does look sporty, so if you are looking for something dainty or dressy, this may not be the best option. Noise Level: There is an alarm option and an hourly beep option. The sound is loud enough to hear. I am a light sleeper, and the alarm wakes me up easily. If you are a heavy sleeper, I recommend setting a backup alarm on your phone while testing it. Readability: The font is large, clear, and very easy to read. Overall: This is a great option if you want a simple, reliable watch without the distractions of a smartwatch.

I originally bought this watch for my husband because it was so affordable, and I figured it was worth giving it a try. It ended up exceeding our expectations! He wears it every single day to work, and despite getting plenty of use, it lasted about a year before needing to be replaced. When it came time for a new one, we didn’t hesitate to purchase the same watch again because he liked it that much. I did notice the price has gone up since our first purchase, but I’m hoping that means the quality is just as good or even better. For the price, it’s been a reliable everyday watch that’s comfortable, durable, and has held up well with daily wear. If this one performs like the last, it’ll definitely continue to be our go-to choice.

I love collecting watches and watches that I can use at the gym or just out with the family without worrying if I scratch it dent it or break it this is a really fine color very light sort of Sandy soft pink and it's just perfect. Very easy to read numbers very simple to set up fits perfectly the band is tough and I really enjoy this watch and for $17 because it was on sale it's a freaking steal get yourself on if you can

(It’s been out of the box for less than 10 minutes and already has a cat hair on it lol) Time is easy to set, and it is also very easy to re-adjust as it loses time (as it will naturally over months). I like how easy it is to toggle between 12- and 24-hour formats, just one press of a button. The hourly chime is not strictly necessary for my use but it’s nice to have because there are some situations where it would come in handy (like when I tell myself I’ll do something at the top of the next hour). The beep of the alarm is not very loud, so I wouldn’t use it as a daily wake-up alarm without a backup which would make it redundant, but it’s loud enough that I would definitely notice it if I’m awake already so it will be useful to use in place of a timer function (which this watch does not have, no big deal) since I only use timers for cooking and exact second precision isn’t necessary. I like that the backlight is a warm amber instead of a cool blue LED, since I will only be using it at night and in the dark and I find cool LEDs jarring in those scenarios. I looked at a few of the other review photos and was worried it would be significantly larger than I wanted, but it’s the same size as the smart watch I was using before I bought this, it’s just a different shape. It’s maybe even a tad smaller, I attached a photo so you can judge (it’s a 41mm with a cover on it). Having the day of the week at a glance without having to pull out my phone to check the lock screen comes in surprisingly clutch. The watch face I was using before just has the numerical date and year but I don’t really think the year is an essential thing to have on my watch. Best of all, and one of my main reasons for purchasing this, is the band. I love the contrast between the red and black which is why most of the bands I had for my smartwatch were red and all of my covers for it are black. Only con is I wish it had more precise sizing. In the perfect position on my wrist, the closest hole is a bit tighter, while the next largest size is too big and I have to push it a little further down my wrist than I’d like. Not significantly further so it isn’t too much of an issue. However, I sweat throughout the day and the sweat on my wrist creates friction that’s handy in keeping the watch from sliding down. The accordion bit on the band is not uncomfortable like I thought it would be, I’ve already forgotten it’s there.

I just ended up buying a new watch BUT this one is great. The only reason I removed a star was because of the fact that the band is stained horribly after almost a year of constant wear. It held up through showers, swimming in the lake, dishes, etc. No issues with the battery at all. I used the alarm function a ton and it’s decently loud surprisingly. The back light is also super handy. Solid budget watch, definitely recommend. Would go with a darker color if you paint or dye your hair frequently though.

I like the W218H. I think it's one of the better-value Casios on the market. It fits well on my wrist, is light and comfortable, is easy to read, keeps good time, is water-resistant, and has a useful backlight. It also lasts about 7 years on the very common CR2016 battery. It's a utilitarian watch that I won't mind replacing if it ever gets lost or damaged. My sample runs about 2 seconds fast per week, or 8 seconds per month accuracy as compared with the NIST time server. My only criticism applies to every digital quartz watch I've ever owned, and that is that the digits can be hard to read (even in bright sunlight) if I'm wearing polarizing sunglasses. I wish it also had a mineral crystal, but for the $22 that I paid at Amazon, I won't worry about a few scratches.

They just tune in and look good. I dressed them on drills in the army and they showed themselves very well in these conditions, I hope that on the base training they will also show themselves well. At the moment, I like everything, I recommend buying it.

I suggest you avoid the olive color. Otherwise it's a very good casio.
