These Carburetors are Awesome
Another Stihl product not running after years of use. Another carburetor bringing it back into operation. Worth the $12 to $20 bucks.

Stihl Bg-55 - In order to remove the carb you have to remove the trigger guard in order to remove throttle linkage, no big deal, just watch the coil wires when you replace as they will fall out of the track that they were nested in. Initial adjustments are close enough to get the blower up and running, but I did have to touch the hi, low, and idle to get back to normal running. Stay away from the Ethanol gas for these little carbs as it dries them out over time.

Good comprehensive kit
My near 20 year old Stihl BG85 handheld blower has been a champ. But lately, it has been harder to start than normal, and then it started leaking fuel. I decided to get a refresh kit and this one had good reviews. It has most everything you need to get your blower back in shape. (I say most everything because I don't care for Torch branded spark plugs.) The carb, fuel lines and gaskets seem like good quality. They even throw in extra primer bulbs and fuel lines! Once installed, my blower started and ran, needing a slight adjustment of the idle speed and high and low jets, which is to be expected. All in all, a very good refresh kit. (I bought a genuine NGK spark plug just because I trust them. I threw the included Torch plug in my parts bin as a spare.)

Perfect Stihl BG55 replacement carb
Perfect replacement. Adjusted hi/low sides and it is like an new machine even though almost 20 years old. Highly recommend.
