I am very impressed with this kitchen island. I purchased two of them: one serves as a kitchen island and the other as a storage table and shelf. I do not have enough cabinet space, so these pieces have been a perfect solution. They provide both storage and a functional workspace without taking up too much room. The pictures and description on the listing are accurate. The quality is excellent, and the hardwood top looks beautiful in person. Assembly was easy and took less than an hour. It arrived quickly and was packaged extremely well, with all parts and hardware included, so there were no delays or missing components. This is a well-built piece. American hardwood top is substantial and finished clean. The frame is stable, assembly is straightforward, and it holds up to actual use without wobble or creaking. At this price point, you're getting genuine quality. Drawers work smooth, the overhang is practical, and the footprint fits real kitchens. No cheap particle board or flimsy hardware. If you need a functional island that's built to last, this delivers. Highly recommend.

I needed extra counter space where I cook and out of all the ones I’ve seen online, this one looks more higher-end for a decent price. My counter height is 36 inches and this island is 36.5 but because the legs are wood I can saw them to make it flush with my counter. I plan to buy some baskets to store appliances, produce, or my toddlers art supplies. After we renovate the kitchen, I plan to use this as a garage work desk so it’s simple enough to be multifunctional. I took a star off because the pattern in the wood has too much contrast in comparison to the photos online. I wanted a plain one. I did it alone and it took approx 30 min because I read the instructions and had everything laying out, but it’s much easier with another person to hold a side. Now I have to figure out if it should go in the middle of the kitchen or the side where I actually need it. TIP: loosely twist the screws at each step before you tighten them; this will ensure they all will align with the holes. It’s much easier with a powered screwdriver.

Great quality for a solid wood island of this price. Most similarly priced islands aren’t. It’s well made and easy to assemble. The wood top is beautiful and the piece didn’t have any strong, bad fumes when new, which is good since it’s meant for the kitchen. The white paint was a little thin at spots, showing the wood underneath a bit, but understandable given the price. Great for adding counter or food prep space to a kitchen. The drawer is a good size for large relatively flat objects.

Pros: --Excellent quality solid wood base and top. --Easy to put together* --Very sturdy --Despite many negative reviews, the drawer fit together perfectly and into the unit perfectly --Beautiful & functional Cons: --*Instructions could have been clearer, especially for assembling the drawer, which I assembled backwards the first time & had to take apart and reassemble. Overall, this took me (69-year-old 90-pound female) only about an hour to assemble by myself. --Drawer catches on something when sliding out. I have to lift it slightly to pull it all the way out --A little taller (height) than I would like by about 1 to1.5 inches, but this is not a bad thing for everyone. I'm only 5 feet tall. --Would have preferred an option of black base with butcher-block top, but the dark cherry top on this unit is beautiful, just not my preference. Overall, I love this unit. I've been looking for an island for about 4 months, and finally decided on this one because it is the perfect size for my kitchen, got good reviews, and is made of solid wood. It competes with units I saw in person for twice this price at Ikea. I have brand-new laminate floors, so I put felt pads under each leg to protect my floors in the event I want to move the unit.

This was purchased to replace a microwave cart while adding some additional storage room. There is plenty of room for the microwave oven, Instant Pot, toaster, toaster oven and various other odds and ends, with a good bit of room still left. The cart was fairly quick and easy for 2 of us to put together with just a couple of issues. Once we got the base assembled (left screws loose at first to allow for adjustment), on attempting to tighten screws we found that one of the holes in the leg was actually drilled too large and the screw wouldn't tighten. My husband the handyman was able to remedy that fairly quickly and then we proceeded to move on to installing the countertop. After a few seconds we found that following the directions for installation of the top was way too much of a pain. We ended up laying the foam wrapping on the floor for protection, and then laying the countertop top-down on the foam. We flipped the base upside down and attaching the counter was a breeze. The drawer is not the greatest, it sticks a lot and I don't think it would hold a lot of weight, but we did place some seldom used but needed items in it. We also found that a couple of appliances with feet didn't sit will on the slatted shelves, but that was something we should have thought about ahead of time. We were able to place them "just right" and it's working fine. All in all we are very happy with this purchase.

Great look (cherry top). Easy to assemble. Been using for 2 months. Solid & stable, both shelves loaded. Good size, probably more convenient if placed against a wall. Drawer for small non-heavy stuff only. Only issue with delayed delivery .

A lot more solid then expected. Price went up after we purchased ours. Would not buy at present price.

Overall, fine for what you pay for, though I suspect you would get better value from Ikea. Sadly, with such good reviews here I didn't bother to check other options. The shelves fragile and doesn't seem sturdy enough to hold 50lbs as stated in their ad, I doubt the structure can hold 100lbs as advertised.

I searched for a long time for the perfect size island for my small kitchen and this 40” wide island ticked all the boxes. Easy to assemble and lightweight to move around as needed. The drawer is a bit shallow but fits boxes of plastic wrap, aluminum foil etc. Love it!

Overall, good value for the price. Top is very nice quality and beautiful. But the rest is made of cheap wood that splits easily. I had three splits while putting it together despite the holes being aligned and not over tightening. I used wood glue to fix it and hopefully it will be ok. White finish is very sheer, damages easy and not very washable. I put a coat of polycrilic to ease cleaning and hopefully, protect it a bit better. Many reviews mentioned issues with drawer but I had no problem with it. Overall, for the price I paid, I am happy with it. It's a nice size, looks good and was easily put together, even if the quality is kind of meh.
