Being tired of going off to the shed to get my big tape measure for silly little measurements when buying things online, I bought this to keep handy on my key hanger. The quality is very good and it's really useful for quick measurements. Only downside is the price. Can be purchased in most DIY stores.

The tape is a little flimsy but what can you expect for a keyring sized tape measure? For what it is, it's perfect. Having it on my keyring is great as you never know when you might need it and I find myself using it a lot more than I expected. Coupled with my keyring level, I can measure and check the level of things in a pinch, whenever and wherever. The black plastic feels rubberised which makes it easier to grip and makes it feel more premium. I was only able to compare it's accuracy with my chunky fatmax auto-lock tape measure but it was pretty much 100% accurate to the naked eye. The images don't do it justice as the camera angle can skew the alignment. Ignore reviews that say that the movement back and forth of the hook at the end of the tape means the measure won't be accurate. The movement of the hook is intended and allows the tape to remain accurate weather the hook is being pushed against a surface or hooked around something and pulled. It moves to cancel out the hook thickness.

Very handy little item to carry around in my bag. Quite often when I'm out shopping I'll need to take measurements. I've already used it a few times. It is well made and sturdy.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem möglichst kompakten Bandmaß für mein quasi-EDC Werkzeug, das als Notfallwerkzeug im Arbeitsrucksack dabei ist und das ich in weiter abgespeckter Form auf Reisen mitnehme. Die winzigen 1m Modelle waren mir zu klein und zu empfindlich. Dieses 2 Meter Bandmaß ist sehr kompakt und trotzdem mechanisch robust. Die schwarzen Gehäuseteile sind gummiert, das 12,5mm breite Band trägt bis 90cm ausgezogen sein Eigengewicht ohne zu knicken, die Bandklemmung und die Einzugsfeder funktionieren sehr gut. Das Gehäuse ist 45mm lang, 46mm hoch und 22,5mm dick und wird von 3 Schrauben zusammengehalten. Das Maßband ist mehr als ausreichend genau. Auf den ersten 150mm ist die Abweichung zu einem guten Marken-Messschieber nicht größer als 1/10mm. Der Haken am Bandende ist 1mm dick und um 1mm verschiebbar, um bei Innen- und Außenmessungen seine eigene Materialstärke auszugleichen. Das ist kein Fehler, sondern Absicht. In manchen Rezensionen wird das nicht erkannt und deswegen irrtümlich kritisiert.
