As described. Works great. Good quality product. Ease to use.

Very well built and balanced. Easily cut through 24 gauge steel roofing sheet. I have a commercial nibbler, but it can't do the tight turns and circles of the VEVOR and I can mount it quickly to my drill. The handle position is good. The drill itself can get in the way in tight locations. This tool is a valuable addition to any builder that uses steel panels. The picture shows a straight cut and several random curves.

Granted this is it's first use and probably won't get used much use under my ownership. But if it keeps this up, I don't see any problems. Ever since my furnace got installed, there hasn't been a way to heat the laundry/mechanical room. And where the ducts run in the back corner closet it wouldn't make sense to put a vent anywhere else other than in the middle of the room on the furnace. I didn't want to use a pair of tin snips to mangle up the sheet metal and make a botchery of things. I didn't really know what I was to expect when ordering this, other than I was hoping it would at the very least do what I need it to. It delivered! Even coming with a step drill bit that makes a big enough hole to insert the tool. I had traced out the shape of the vent, drilled a hole in the corner. One end of the tool is fixed for straight cuts, the other end swivels for curves. I used the swivel end. Simply put, this tool is a glorified hole punching machine. It dumped the chippings outside of the furnace. So this could not have worked any easier for me. Makes for easy clean up.

Where have these been all my life! For less than $30 this is a game changer. This can cut steel case material for enterprise network switches and high and AV equipment. I do a LOT of modding hardware especially adding fans. I typically use hole-saws, but they have trouble with anything other than aluminum. This cuts circles or straight lines like butter even through hard material and steel. I'm blown away! Highly recommended. Buy one now so you have it when you need it.

A lot of parts and pieces. No assembly instructions. None can be found online and customer service is more than useless. They are downright difficult. I missed my return window. It comes in a nice metal box but the locking tab broke off after a couple times of use.

Da wir unser Werkstattdach mit Trapezblechplatte neu machen mussten/wollten, habe ich früher oder später einen Knabber benötigt. Ich muss sagen, der hier war gar nicht mal teuer und hat seinen Dienst sehr gut verrichtet. Am Anfang war ich eher skeptisch, da ich die Platte diagonal schneiden musste. Tatsächlich ging es einfacher als gedacht. Selbst doppellagiges Blech war kein Problem. Das Ergebnis, ein sauberer Schnitt. Für den Hobbyhandwerker absolut empfehlenswert. Nur eine Sache ist störend, die "Kratzstelle" beim schneiden. Beim nächsten Mal besser abkleben.

Solide handzaam stukje gereedschap, en het is leuk om ermee te werken. De knabbelaar gaat vlot en vrij door dunne metaalplaat. Hij werkt ook plezierig stil in mijn toepassing (= snijden vast zachte koperplaat met dikte 1,5 mm; ik heb de plaat stevig vastgeklemd tegen trillingen).

Sheet metal nibbler I was a bit nervous that this nibbler sells for half the price of several almost identical products. I was concerned that the cutting blade might not be of as hard a steel as more expensive versions. I needn’t have worried. I ordered mine on 17th and it arrived midday 19th. It was heavy which is a good sign. It came in a high quality steel box. Inside everything looked robust except the plastic handle which was thin walled with a flimsy looking metal threaded insert which looked less robust than I would have expected. But it survived ok. The nibbler came with a spare blade guide. That seemed superfluous as I expect the blades will become blunt long before the guide wears out. The nibbler is fitted with a double ended cutting rod and a spare rod which provides two more cutting edges. They recommend using metal cutting fluid. I didn’t use any, perhaps I should have. I bought it to cut two 6 inch diameter holes at opposite ends of a metal box made from 1 mm thick mild steel sheet. It did this with no trouble and it was surprisingly quick. It didn’t seem to be losing sharpness or cutting speed after cutting those holes. There is a handy compass attachment to aid cutting round holes. You need a 19 mm spanner to fit it and an 8 mm spanner to fix the pivot in place. To locate the pivot I drilled a 4mm hole at the centre of where I wanted the hole. The nibbler has a hexagonal shaft to go into the electric drill chuck which ensures good grip without having to apply great force to the chuck key. I am very happy with it. It worked much better than I expected.

This attachment works great. Takes a bit of getting used to but with some practice, it works great. Excellent deal.
