This was the biggest B to put together alone.. got so pissed many time and almost gave up but once it was put together it’s absolutely beautiful! When the lid is lifted it feels flimsy but it’s not.. it’s such a nice coffee table. Definitely worth the $$ and stress to almost throw it over the balcony lol

Item arrived on time and packaging was very good. No chips, dings or scratches. Box shipped with Plastic Corner Covers to protect damage from shipping issues.Material is a little cheapish (pressed wood) but looks nice regardless. Has a texture that resembles wood feel and has a nice sheen to it.Metal Hinges are very good - even has Hydraulics instead of Springs which I was surprised because that costs more! Opening is a bit wobbly but not terrible. Closing is very nice and soft. The Bottom Shelf and Bottom of Compartment material is very Thin and you shouldn't put anything too heavy in or on it because it will eventually Sag and look ugly. The Table Top itself is good though!!Overall, I like it. I could not find a High Quality Wood table on Amazon with this type of mechanism. Even at double the price of these tables, those materials are very similar. Price to Function and Look is just fine for this! Oh yeah - Instructions are kinda terrible. Shows how to assemble Half of the table and you're just supposed to Assume the other side is the same. Gets a little confusing and frustrating. Just take your time and make the most of it. You definitely need 2 people when installing the Table Top!!

It's easy to assemble but I would recommend two people at least for part of it. I put the whole thing together myself and it wasn't terrible but it would've been much easier if I had a second person to hold up the lid while I screwed it in. Love the table and how smoothly it glides open and closed.

Love this coffee table. Instructions were easy to follow. Lots of storage space, easy to move nice color. Wish I had purchased this several years ago.It's recommended to have 2 people to assemble this, however, I was able to put ot together myself in about 45 minutes I did get the top lid backwards and had to remove that one and turn it around. Thats the part where 2 people would have really helped, but i was finally able to get it righted, so double check the fit before you tighten all the screws.Two tools are provided. Wrench and small Phillips screwdriver. If you have access to an electric screwdriver, definitely use that one.The top lid/cover seems like it could hold a decent weight (1/2" solid wood) The inner shelf (flimsy board like material <1/4" )shouldn't be used for heavier items though.

I love the idea, look, and size of this table. I got through putting the whole table together by using the included instructions. However, once it came to assembling the lift top, it became impossible to do alone. The holes on this table, wherever you need to use a "G" screw, are not deep enough, even my electric drill couldn't get the nails in. I had to use the small handheld screwdriver provided but due to the force needed to get the nails in the table, the screw driver metal wore completely off and is not usable.I am waiting for help to come over to see if they can help install the lift top. I am not lying when I say one person is not enough, I was trying to balance the table top on my back, while holding the drill, and the nail/metal in the right spot, all for it to not be able to drill into the wood!Very Frustrating!If you live alone do not buy, unless you have others coming over to help! I also have found that the pieces are not close together that I have put together ... and yes I tightened ALL the screws! The lift top compartment where the bottom is, bowls down and I cannot store anything in it until it is fixed.I hope this review was helpful. I am looking to return this table.

I love this however there is a gap when you close it so you can see in the storage area. Keep this in mind if you want one that closes all the way. Very cute and functional but also very flimsy. I'm not disappointed with the flimsyness because the price is reasonable but don't get this if you expect it to last.

This thing is great. It works great for eating dinner at the couch and using a mouse and keyboard if you have a pc hooked up to your TV.I don’t know about the other reviews saying this was difficult to put together, I would say they are clearly wrong. The instructions are super clear and the only reason I could see someone struggling is if they have never successfully put together any furniture in their life. It’s a very simple and straightforward design.If put together correctly and making sure all the nuts and bolts are tight, this table feels very sturdy. I would recommend this table to anyone who is looking for something of this nature.

I like the style it fits nicely with my other Amazon stuff. It was easy to put together until I got to the hydraulics, one of my shocks goes down slower than the other. I bought it to use as desk /table to eat on. It’s ridiculous I know I have a kitchen table, but I need convenience as I work and this table will suffice. I don’t think it will last for years, but for now I am happy.
