Simply astonishing!
I have been playing 43 years. I own cheap electric guitars and expensive ones. Never owned a Telecaster in all that time so I thought for ยฃ145, what is there to lose? Don't get me wrong, when I was young ยฃ50 was a lot of money! So negatives first; no gig bag or case. Not a problem for me but you must factor that in if you are a young player/beginner. You have to transport it somehow! Action was a little on the high side so go online and check out how to set things up or take it to someone to set it up if you are unsure. However, it was playable and the intonation was spot on! So the positives: Everything! I was quite stunned at the quality of finish. Not a blemish on the paintwork. The neck is perfect with a standard 9.5 inch radius just like my USA Strat! The frets are well dressed. After a few minor tweaks, it plays as well as any guitar I own. The pickups give a full tone, just like a Telecaster should have and the neck pickup is sublime! I have just removed a second layer of pickguard protection and to be honest I simply do not know how they do it for this price! I would happily pay another ยฃ100 for this guitar. Leo Fender would be so proud! Yes, the Chinese have arrived! Just like the Japanese did in the 70's! Now I wonder what their Stratocasters are like?

Really great value quality guitar
I bought this guitar after about 20 years of regret from selling a Squier Silver Series Strat Japanese build! The guitar is really well made and sounds very nice. All the switches and knobs move nice and smooth and feel solid. Some people have reported blemishes and marks on the guitars they have had but mine was flawless. At first I thought there were marks on the pick guard but then realised there's there were two layers of protective film covering it. One thing I would point out is that my neck doesn't have the skunk stripe that is shown in the images of the guitar. After reading up there's divided opinion. Some people think a guitar with a skunk stripe is a sign of better build quality but others say that if there's a solid maple neck and fingerboard then a skunk stripe isn't needed (apparently it's just there to cover up where a router has taken out a strip of the neck to attach a fixing bolt). Just something to be aware of if you have a strong opinion on this as I've heard some people when looking at a guitar will turn it round, see there's no skunk stripe and immediately discount it

Love it!
I've not owned many six strings. I wanted something bluesy. And this delivers. But put it through some basic effects and it can blast out some heavy A.F. crust-punk as good as any other guitar as well. .

Superb value for money
This I feel is massively good value. Fender acquired Squire in 1965 so these guitars sort of have the Fender stamp of authenticity. It came with basic factory set up, but ready to play straight out of the box. These are really aimed at entry level guitars or for the budget-conscious, but now I have mine set up as I want, it easily stands up against far more expensive guitars. Years of fun with a great price tag.

I LOVE this guitar.
I tried out some sub-hundred dollar Telecaster copies, Glarry and a few other knockoffs, but I have some history with Fender, having purchased a 1966 Fender Mustang in the mid-70's as my first "real" guitar as a kid, so I eventually decided to fork out the extra hundred bucks and change for the Fender quality and name. Boy, did I ever make the right decision. This guitar is awesome. It was well packed and set up perfectly right out of the box. I own a 1999 Mexican made Stratocaster and a 2024 Fender Sonic Stratocaster as well, but I wanted a Telecaster for its signature Tele twang and bite. This beautiful butterscotch Telecaster with blonde maple fingerboard delivers in spade. It feels terrific and it plays exquisitely. Great job, Fender. UPDATE: I was offered the Glarry GTL tele replica for $50 by an EBay seller and I couldn't resist. I bought that one, too. It's a surprisingly great guitar. The finish is beautiful, just like the Fender and the maple neck is as straight as can be, though a bit thick. It sounds awesome and plays beautifully. I was going to replace the bridge pickup until I opened up the Fender and saw that both guitars have the same ceramic pickup. I replaced the old style tele bridge with a $10 modern telecaster bridge, so I can tune each saddle individually and I did order a telecaster replacement neck for $35. I now have an exact twin for my Fender Sonic Tele, with one exception: the Glarry body is made of Basswood, which is a lot lighter than the Maple/Poplar body on the Fender, so, even though they look the same, the Glarry is quite a bit lighter. I've ended up spending under $100 total for the Glarry, plus parts, to get the guitar that I wanted, but I had to expend quite a bit of time to get there. I easily did over $100 worth of work on it, so I still have NO regrets about buying the Fender Sonic for $199 as it was great right out of the box. If I ever purchase another telecaster, it will be a Fender.

Best Squier EVER, read ME
The Sonic Series is way better than before, Super Straight neck. Great tuner( real one), who stay tuned at 100% Awesome Pick up, they are Ceramic Single coil with double blade magnet @ Neck 7.44 K Ohm and Bridge @ 7.01 K Ohm. I love the Tone and Power of Ceramic Pickups, Some people think Alnico Pickups are better, but its a myth, they are great Pickups for clean and Dirty Tone. Guitar body already Shield, see picture another big plus. Even the Basic 6 Strings are good, you don't need to change it Right away. Electronic are ALPHA Switch see picture and Pots (Volume+ Tone) they work smooth and clean and the Output Jack too! Conclusion: Great guitar, probably my best so far, Perfect Paint job, No Fret buzz, No sharp Fret, Ready to play, you will just need to adjust the strings height the way you like it and a little of intonations, that's it. Message for the people who complain, you are totally out of your Track, this Guitar is a GEM. Do not hesitate, great quality product with a nice finish. you will have it for Long Time. Thank you Squier another GREAT Quality product Again Indonesia know how to build great guitar.
