Searchlight Fisherman nautical ceiling pendant (4301AB antique brass)

Looks good, especially in daylight. Well made in antique steel finish this one. Note that it shines light downwards, not at the ceiling. Our is in the Hallway, where intense upward illumination is not required and fitted with a 7 watt led bulb it can be left on at low cost and with no risk of overheating. These lamps fitted over a dining table should look good and shine right onto the food! Our is the middle-sized version make sure you pick the correct size for your requirement. The alignment of the various parts is not the best, but you get used to that.

Lamp itself nicely made with a long cable between the actual light and ceiling fitment supplied. Knew when I purchased it I would have to shorten the cable, which is a bit fiddley to do given the cheap plastic connector supplied. The glass lamp shade is held on by 3 screws which work okay just have to be careful not to screw to the glass too hard as it has the potential to break the glass. Overall pleased with the look now it is up.

Very pleased with this light. It is exactly as described and seems to be of good quality. The item arrived on time and is in a branded box so I feel confident that it is up to british standard and will not give us any problems. We bought this to match these items Modern Antique Brass Metal and Glass Fisherman's Vintage Style Lantern Bedside Touch Table Lamp - Complete with a 5w LED Dimmable Candle Bulb [3000K Warm White ] and the difference in quality is quite pronounced and I would stay away from the latter.

Delivery was very speedy, I haven't yet placed the item so I don't know how easy it is to fit or how well it looks when lit. I am impressed with the quality of the light and the colour, I can't wait to see it lit with a fancy bulb.

Quite flimsy but looks ok up. Glass shade is precariously held by retaining screws - changing the bulb will be difficult.

Loved the light and easy to put together. I have got mine hanging quite high to the ceiling otherwise we would be hitting our heads as we pass so because of this I dont feel I get the full effect of the pendant. Otherwise it is lovely.

I bought 2 of these fpr my previous kitchen, they were pleasant to look at but the glass shades weren't symetrical -looked a little odd if studied closely. Otheriwse good for the price

I have bought 4 of these lamps also with the wall bracket.The lamp looks good but the screw fitting for the bulb is sooooooo bad that on three of them they do not make electrical contact.The screw fitting is made of very soft aluminium and is not fit for purpose.I have had to replace the screw fittings on three of the four.As I live in Portugal,it is not worth sending them back,so fixed them myself. The rest of the lamp looks OK and Amazon did a great job on delivery.I do not like seeing the fillement of the bulb through the clear glass. Amazon service 5 stars. Lamp quality 2 stars.

Diese Leuchte entspricht der Darstellung. Nicht zu sehen ist allerdings der Sockel an der Decke, der flach ist und im Inneren mit zwei Schrauben an der Decke festgeschraubt wird. Je nach Kabellänge, die im Sockel verstaut werden muss, gestaltet sich die Anbringung daher etwas schwieriger. Die Verbindung zwischen Sockel und Lampe besteht aus einem Kabel, also keine zusätzliche Kette zur optischen Aufwertung. Fünf Sterne, weil die Leuchte ein echtes Schmuckstück ist und solide verarbeitet ist. Jeder hat die Lampe bestaunt. Sehr zu empfehlen! Nachtrag: Die Lampe kann man auch im Europa-Park im Hotel Bell Rock finden. Bin noch immer sehr zufrieden, eine wunderschöne Lampe.

Die Lampe ist absolut schön, der Preis gerechtfertigt. Nur einen Punkt Abzug, weil sie leider nicht in unser "Traumfarbe" weiß erhältlich war. Wir haben die Lampe trotzdem gekauft und selbst weiß bemalt. Sieht jetzt ganz toll aus und ist ein absoluter Hingucker bei: - maritimem - industrial - Retro Wohnstil.

entspricht fast den Erwartungen, denn einen Wermutstropfen gibt es: höhenverstellbar ist nicht, geht nur über Kabelkürzung, das ist nicht höhenverstellbar im eigentlichen Sinn, daher nur 4 Sterne. Das Kabel dürfte auch gerne etwas länger sein, die Lampe ist super geeignet für hohe Räume und braucht daher ein längeres Kabel. Aber Verarbeitung, Preis und Optik: Top. Echter Hingucker.

der Begriff "höhenverstellbar" ist hier nicht korrekt, da für eine Verstellung das Kabel gekürzt werden muß, und somit ggf.eine Verlängerung nicht mehr möglich ist.
